The couple it Sonnet 34 spoke to me the first time I read it, and again in considering this new poem. You probably also noticed the modified skyscraper form for this poem. So many gifts you give us. I’m very glad these first seven connected with you.

I feel so very sad at the end of this chapter. To know this happens too often each and every day makes me sadder still. You have made clear how important it is to make the problem of depression in veterans widely known. Thanks for this.

You are so good to share your experiences in this emergency with everyone. I can feel the effects of isolation in so many ways. I loved the yoga program you linked. Yoga was something I had to give up when I hurt my shoulder. Maybe it’s worth another try, as I’ve missed it for the peace and strength it brought. Peace, love, blessings and hugs.- 13 comments

It’s hard to fight battles as chaotic and fraught as this one. Isolation is a very hard thing, yet it’s what we seem to have to do in order to keep one another safe. Like you, I wish our leaders would fight as if they were all on the same side. Thanks for this.

Thanks so much for reading and responding to these. Isolation has plenty of ups and downs, and I’ve never been fond of roller coasters. No need to pick a favorite, but it makes me glad April 3 appealed to you.

Thank you very much for responding to the first week. I'm glad you liked both desk and birthday cake; I found April 5 to be a real challenge, along with April 1. I seemed to box myself in, looking for rhymes for youth.

I had to catch up by a couple of chapters. Sandra bows to the inevitable, yet does so on her own terms. In doing so, she helped more firmly reconnect Grant to his family, and repair the hurts that existed between them. And now Beth. I’m definitely interested in learning more about her. Thanks for another absorbing chapter.

Hank gave Chase a huge gift in helping to reconnect him to their mutual friend group. Chase may be right that he and Hank can move on, but at least there is a part of him that has been restored. Great chapter. -

I liked this detour to Whitehorse. Brent and Dawson have me smiling now, and good riddance to Perry. You painted him as slime green as any Halloween swamp critter. I suspect this pair will be very tired in the morning. Great chapter!

Sandra in control, yet not in control, must be just as unbalancing for her as her physical malady. That, and meeting a possible match in Troy. Gavin’s reunion with Grant was nice to see. But most important to me was how swiftly and certainly Grant’s relationship to Troy has been accepted as a matter of course. Can’t wait for more.
