I hope by the time you read this you are on the path to recovery. This chapter had some answers, but also more confusion. I think/hope Don Costa is no longer a problem. I do wonder what, if anything Corbin has planned for Elias? I was tickled to see Elias "take charge" with Joseph and Orson! I disagree with some of your readers. Orson is not the only one to love and care about Elias. There is a group of men at a certain campground that are also in on the love and caring. More good writing! Thanks.

What a great story! And just in time for Christmas. I enjoyed reconnecting with Elijah and the guys. They are great characters! You've done a good job developing them and keeping them real. I especially like their dialogue! You have also done a good making it seem real. Thanks.

It is nice to get in a little visit with Lewis and Stephen during the holidays. They are such great characters! I can't imagine someone being like Lewis' father, but I know they are out there. Once again you have used your amazing writing skills to give us this terrific story! It seems like I often comment about your talent with dialogue. You seem to have an ear for what sounds natural and real. And of course you have created this wonderful roster of characters that I love! It was great to read a story about Chipper. I wanted to fill in your readers who were disappointed or frustrated with the ending. Chipper lost the contest to Bliss. Adam made good on his promise and helped Chipper with his first album. It went double platinum, and was the start of a long and successful career for Chipper in the music world. 😎😉😎🤔😎😆😎 Who ever said readers couldn't have a creative moment or two? 😃 Thanks Carlos for another enjoyable story!

Great story! I laughed a lot, especially at the ending, which I didn't see coming. As far as the bus crazy goes, you both share in the blame. I do agree it gets frustrating when a person doesn't take the hint. The cookies sound delicious! I have had something similar, but never made them myself. Thanks.

A good Samaritan story is always a pleasure to read. I liked the ending with the promise of a new friendship and maybe more. I have had the soup at Olive Garden, and it is delicious! My favorite soup is called Autumn Soup in my family. It is made with hamburger, vegetables, and stewed tomatoes. Very easy; very delicious. Thanks.

Although that is a popular rumor, I am here to tell you it is not so. 😄😄😄 I bake ten smaller fruitcake every fall. I give them out before Christmas as gifts to friends. 🎅

My parents made fruitcake for Christmas in the fall. It was wrapped and put in the freezer. One was taken out at Thanksgiving to "taste test." I am one of those people who love fruitcake. We are definitely a minority. Their recipe was not like yours. Yours sounds interesting. I may try it. I really liked the story of the magic fruitcake. Adding good to the lives of the people it touched. Thank you.
