    I guess even "big, dumb jocks" can have their moments. I am a bit sorry to see Oscar slipping back into survival mode. He must not realize a relationship can't be built on lies. Can't wait for more from the character I love to hate!

    Wow, Jack! That was some fine writing! I could really feel Oscar's anxiety build! Even more amazing is the change in direction of his emotions. When was the last time he cared about anyone but himself? I loved the fact that he worries about what Adam may have planned to sabotage his relationship with Mr. Price. It's nice to see Oscar is really human under that tough she'll. Thanks for sharing this story!

    Do you get a commission from Miami for promoting travel? My total Florida experience is a week in Walt Disney World. My bucket list includes a return visit to see everything else, and every time your characters visit, Florida moves up on my travel list! Thanks for more good story. I enjoy the way different members of your large cast show up in each story. It was nice to hear from Chipper this time.

    I probably should have seen that coming, but I didn't! It certainly puts a new spin on things. The break up and post break up trauma were both well written. I can't wait to see how Kaiden interacts with his new friends. And I assume since Jake's name is in the title, we haven't seen the last of him.

    I am still really enjoying this story! Peter is getting more secure in himself and his relationship with Eric, but I wish he could finally get past his insecurities. Can't wait for more! Thanks.

    Another story well done! Thank you Tim. It is even more impressive because you picked the short story format. I have heard more than one person say that short stories are hard to write well. Seems to me you nailed it. And with a thought provoking message!

    This story about Carlton Henderson and his family is a good read! Quokka has a distinct style of writing. His main characters are usually strong-willed and competent. Carlton is no exception. He and his family do charters aboard a catamaran, so a lot of the story takes place at sea. The other distinct quality of Quokka's writing is attention to detail. I thought the details about a ship's layout and operation were fascinating! I also enjoyed the travelogue about cruising around Australia. If you enjoy a story about family and travel, this one is for you. I found it most enjoyable.

    Thank you for this most enjoyable story. As I get to the end, I wish I had thought to have a map of Western Australia and a diagram of the ship to refer to as I read. Like several others I was a little disappointed that Carlton didn't make/find time for some romance. He does seem to be married to his job and the one his family all seem to lean on. I know some people have grumbled about the details you include about the ships and the travelling, but don't ever give that up. Besides your strong, competent main characters, that is one of the things I like best about your stories! Thanks again for sharing this story.

    Ok, it's time for one of them to be a little more agressive. Couldn't one of them said something about getting together on Christmas? It wouldn't have to involve spending the whole day together, or meeting family. Come on, Trick, up your game a bit!

    How nice to catch up with TJ and company! I went back and re-read the previous chapters, and I enjoyed them just as much as the first time. This new chapter was really full! Not only did Mom read her ugly head, but now we have another bad guy in Kevin's dad. I am glad TJ continues to attract good friends. I wish he could get a handle on his temper. Maybe Josh will help him with that. Thanks for more of this good story!

    How sad and wrong to base a relationship, even a strictly sexual one, on a lie. And here I was beginning to like Oscar a bit. Is he going to be a shit until the end? Or will he have some better focus in his life than just manipulating people and sex? The puzzling part is in spite of what I've just written, I can't quit reading. Flawed characters are always interesting, and your writing is just too good! Thanks.
