I stumbled across this story when looking for another shifter story. It was the name! by the end of the 1st chapter I knew it wasn't but by then i was hooked. I don't like to watch sports or read about them and I had never heard of Aussie Rules Football, the reader doesn't need to either to enjoy it. I loved this story, more than once! Even though the story has a very large cast of characters, Graeme was able to keep them all interesting and not lose any. Well done. Graeme will keep you intrigued until all the way to the end of this book.
3rd time i'm reading this and still want to strangle you but that is a good thing. the story is great and keeps us guessing. since i've read this before and know who it is, but it is great that it is still up in the air this close to reveal time
thanks reader! thanks caz!
i had a therapist who fired me as a patient because i refused to hate my abuser (didn't love or like those people, just refused to hate). last therapist i ever saw. i told him the opposite of love was not hate, but indifference.
edited to add: abuse in any form is not ok and those who do it need to be punished. i wish i had been a stronger teenager and turned them in. my abusers that i know of are dead. some in horrific, painful ways. i only know of one that lives and last i heard he is in jail.
i'm glad you didn't edit this. the pain, the loneliness, the craving to connect is very evident and reaches out. to be so alone within a group cuts so deep. i'm sorry no one heard your cries, but am happy you fought, won and are able to share this dark but beautiful piece with us. keep fighting. keep writing. but most of all keep sharing.
Someone gave me the advice “ don’t cross an ocean for someone who wouldn’t cross a puddle for you”.
Today I’ll paddle and you rest. Tomorrow we’ll swap. Together we’ll make down stream.
I’ll hold my hand out, the choice is yours if we dance in the rain and splash in the puddles.
Love and life are not about what you get but what you give.
Unless it endangers your life, cross puddles. Climb mountains, cross oceans, open doors.
Love people. Love unconditionally.

i have to tell you, i'm loving this story! your writing keeps getting better and better. i should know i've been reading since the 1st chapter of the 1st book you posted. i can only hope this one isn't as dark as the 1st 2
I am grateful for all in my life.
I was blessed with memories we created.
People come into our lives for a reason, a season or lifetime.
Sometimes that reason is pain.
A speed bump, a detour.
If we are lucky there is a hand to lift us.
If not, you drag yourself over the stumble.
Good or bad,
I remember all those who touched my life,
even if they never remember me.
not sure this is a bug/problem, but, one of the reasons, if i remember correctly, for getting "Clubs" was so they could be "closed" and "private". if you have the All Activity tab open, posts even for a closed club show up. not just that there is a post, but the body of the post. like i said, don't know if it is a problem or not. just wanted to let you know
thanks RJ. you are so right. the shame last for a long time. it can jump and punch you at at odd moments, especially during medical stuff when you have to explain the x-rays
i don't care for the Sci-fi genre in general so i usually pass on them. however, i enjoyed this author' other stories so i took a chance. boy i'm glad i did! it has great pacing and the main characters aren't two dimensional. very much a good read. i think i went through every emotion that a human has, with this one.
