Broken ribs, heal.
Collapsed lungs, re-inflate.
Dislocated shoulders, realign.
Sprain wrist and ankles, mend.
Facial swelling, bruising, fade.
Just like a river cuts through rocks,
and washes everything away,
Words will cut and maim your very soul.
@William King you may not see this but i wanted to respond to this last post. when you said that Mike didn't answer your question, i went back and read the whole thread. the thing is, Mike and tim both answered your question,as did Mac to some degree. it was you who failed to want to understand the answer. to me, your posts read of judgement, even though you say your not. judgmental. i do not like when people assume my reaction to things.
i wasn't sure if i'd comment on this. you describe these...(hard pressed to call them humans) well. they see nothing wrong with what they do. and "grooming" is a good word. you write about boys, but sadly, both sexes are groomed. i, too, try hard to see the goodness in people and in the world. to hold on to that and shine lights in to dark corners where these cockroaches live so no child is groomed. thank you tim for your thoughts.
thanks Gary. i'm the strange thing is, i don't go into the sunlight unless i absolutely have to, as i am slightly allergic to it, according to the doctor.
you may have disappointed a number of people, but there is always room in the heart for forgiveness. you may not agree with me, but to me, its true. i wish you peace

Dandelions.
Weeds.
Growing everywhere.
Even in the pavement cracks.
Ascending towards the sky.
Green and yellow.
Bright spots in desolate cities.
Seas of gold in open spaces.
Hardy little things.
Like plant phoenixes.
Rising above things,
to shine with their own brilliance.

Sunshine, flowing like liquid gold,
spills through windows of a life.
Friends, like dust motes, dance on shafts of light.
Families are all touched by the light
both Marcus and Andy have things to work through. Andy needs to see more shades of gray. his world is so black and white. to me the thing lacking for both of them, neither is talking to each other.
