The glide of the thumb, across the cheek.
The hand slipping over the shoulder.
A finger pad tracing the muscles of the chest.
The press of lips in the small of the back.
The foot caressing the inner leg.
Intimacies of human touch.
i only started writing comment a few months ago. i always wondered if the authors really wanted to hear from me. mostly because some of the stories were written YEARS ago. do they want to hear from me now? that i like it. or that i don't have anything else to say, because others already made the comment i would have made.
I closed my eyes for a moment.
You were there.
Reaching for you,
You danced away.
Calling for me to follow.
Eyes popped open,
You were gone.
Just the faint whisper remained.
Shadows and light trying to touch the living.
Life and time, unforgiving.
Shadows haunt the light.
Day haunts the night.
Feelings and thoughts slipping.
I saw death today.
He walked the halls, slowly, with reluctance.
His shoulders hunched, as if the weight of the world, he carried.
The birds in their cages still, as he drifted by.
The night throwing shadows everywhere for him to hide.
He stands there at the door now, out of the way of the people coming and going. Just waiting. Waiting to whisper a name on the breeze blowing.
I saw death today. ~moggy
Death returned today.
He did not slip in quietly.

at times i really wanted to succeed. i've been declared dead twice now and been told 10-15 times "that should have killed you". its not me keeping me here, i'm sure
to a degree, i understand Dustin's pain and what he is going. BTDT, just not to the severity of Dustin. my first attempt i was about 7 and the last was at 22. i just couldn't get right. i still think about it, just not doing it. i've gotten people out of bad situations. was a foster parent when i was healthier. i've talked people down from jumping. but you telling me i'd be missed? you're wrong
i keep promising myself i'm not going to read this anymore, because Billy seems so very stupid i just want to give him a "Gibbs treatment". but i can't stop the ride. keep it coming
tim, this was the first story of yours i read. beautiful, just like your poetry. its a great story of a happily ever after for a man who didn't think he deserved one. you pulled all the heart strings, up and down.

Gary, this was the 4th story i read here add started reading after you started posting so i binged on the 1st 13 chapters in a single session. i kept wanting to see what happened. then every monday. so unique on the shifter story. the characters worked. they made sense, in the story as a whole, there were times i felt like slapping a few the ending was a good ending, sorta. i still would love a second book or third or more. many stories to tell and i want to read them all. good job, made my mondays brighter. now off to read it again. and again. well for the 5th time
1st of all jay,l 2nd like puppiull said, do not work more than they pay you. maybe you need to see a lawyer or headhunter if things get worse. take care.
