  1. Got a confession. I asked her how she made the Carrot dish. Turns out it was a premade side from Sam's Club. Was still good.
  2. When you write, do you ever feel self conscious about it? Yes, and No. The only time I do is when I'm writing at the table in the dining room. The members of my family, I'm living with are straight, and when I'm out there, and they ask, what am I writing about, telling them it's Gay Fiction makes it feel weird. Do you feel like maybe you are giving away too much? Nope. It's the opposite. I feel like I'm not investing as much as I should at times. People go through all sorts of changes in their life. If you are the same person at 20,30 and 40, you are doing it wrong. Experience is everything. Like a meme, I saw the other day said, "I read, and play role-playing and video games, not because I have 'no life,' but because I choose to have more than one." These add experience one can draw from, like any other life lesson. Do you feel like there are lines that shouldn't be crossed? I don't. "Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear." - Thomas Jefferson. Question everything, write about it. Even "taboo" subjects need to be discussed, and brought into the light of day. HOW you discuss such subjects, is up for debate, but nothing should be off the table. Can you go too far? You can. Gotta know who your audience is, and approach it in a manner that doesn't turn people off. Might be contrary to the last question, but writing about a subject, Rape for Example, in a way that makes people feel uncomfortable, would be too far. Maybe you should. Expanding one's boundaries is always fun.
  3. I've recently found, I can't write when I have music with words playing. Too distracting for me. So, I listen to it, before putting on just intramental, to get me in the right frame of mind. Listening to Meat Loaf's Bat Outa Hell II album doesn't make for good SciFi. LOL
  4. Granted - But it's all the new Pepsi Fire. I wish I had some Pepsi Fire right now.
  5. Over the weekend, my cousin fixed dinner for everyone, and it was great. The dish that stood out was a medley of different types of Carrots. Orange, Yellow, and Purple colored ones. She oven roasted them, is a butter sauce, but I swear it tasted like she grilled them. Aside from not knowing Carrots come in a variety of colors, and not just orange, each had a unique flavor and was really good. I've had the leftovers now for two days.
  6. Granted - Your eyes were replaced with cybernetic one, but you can only see in Black and White now. I wish I had the money to do the special thing I want to do.
  7. I live in Florida. Shorts are required here. LOL. In all honesty, I can see the Rompers being more of a Northern Trend than a Southern one. Just for ease of being Shirtless in the heat.
  8. Thanks for reading and for the questions. For my story's military, when working on a ship, there are three 8 hour shifts, so they work 8 hours on, and 16 hours off. During the off hours, they are required to do further training and skills practice. I'm not really sure how it is for Real World Militaries, so it may be similar, or completely different. First Watch is from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm ships time. Typically the highest scoring and best crew are in this timeslot. Second Watch is from 4:00 pm to 12:00 am. Typically crewed by Seconds and lower ranking officers. Third Watch is from 12:00 am to 8:00 am. Typically reserved for trainees, Higher Ranked enlisted training for officer positions and punishment for bad performance. When the Prometheus broke orbit, they were in the middle of Second Watch. At 8 hours till engagement, it would have put the battle at a time when the Third watch was on, and crewed by Trainees. So, Admiral Franks ordered short shifts to speed up the time in which First Watch can be on the bridge, and across the ship. Even though First Watch, is the most experience of the crew, until the Battle of Gilese Prime, the Sol Federation Navy had never fired a shot in anger. The Marines, Air Force, and Army have had engagements with Terrorists, and hostile Wildlife, but never the Navy.

    D/s BDSM

The more I read this thread, the more curious I'm getting. I know I would not be comfortable with some of the D/s aspects, but as I mentioned earlier, at home I'm pretty much a submissive person. I tend to put my Partner, Family, Roommates, needs and wants before my own. However, the one time, I let someone in, and trusted them fully, they screwed me over. I have serious issues because of that. Out in the Real World, I'm very Dominate. Volunteering for assignments at work, or back in college, and would be pissed if people didn't hold up their end, and was very vocal about it. If you follow Astrology, my Sun and Moon symbols, are both Aries. Currently single, and not looking, so I know that limits any options I have to look into this.
  15. Next time hun.
  16. Granted - But your didn't get anything you need to fix dinner tonight. I wish, I could wish upon a star, and it makes no difference who you are.

    D/s BDSM

Last time I let someone tie me down to the bed, it didn't end well. I don't do it at all now. Not even if my partner wants it done on them, it's a flat no.
  19. It sounds great Tim. Where making some homemade Chicken and Yellow Rice. It's my Uncle's recipe, so its new to me.
  20. Granted. Time turns back, and you're stuck at home, sitting on the couch, with laptop in hand, and two broken legs. Plenty of time to grant wishes. I wish that @Valkyrie takes my wish.

Fun story. Loved it! I've never liked the Secret Santa stuff because it was exactly how you said. Candy, and pep talk cards. This one, I would have loved to have been in.
