  1. “What do you mean you are leaving now?” Kyle asks Gavin, as he moved to head towards the exit. “Well, the party is winding down, and you have that client to impress,” Gavin says while leaning in to give his boyfriend a kiss. “I got a distinct impression; he would rather not see a gay couple.” “That would be his loss, not mine. Really don’t need him, or his money, if he can’t be a decent non-homophobic person,” Kyle responds. “Bullshit. I know he’s one of the bigger clients y

    Mystery Machine

A very good story. It had me chuckling at several points, and I loved the ending!

    Radiated Love

Thank you. The first incarnation of the story was more Marvel Superhero, but it didn't flow for me. This one, hit me right after I saw a rerun on Science Channel about a Gamma-Ray Burst. In my mind, they did get back safe to the shelter. Though what happened on the trip is a story unto itself. Thank you. Thank you, Tim. I went a bit dark on the treatment of the Gay couple, and it was hard to write and think about. My Beta reader said, "it captures what a lot of survivalists would think." Still, thinking because you're not breeding, you're useless is completely alien to me. Thanks, Valkyrie. That's what I was hoping for. Trying to inform, in such a small amount. Thank you! I seem to have a theme of Gay Couples in my writings, trying to show love in different situations. I think I need to branch out some.
  5. It reminded me of a decent into madness. I thoroughly enjoyed the story.

    Atop the Height

I really need to remember not to cut onions while reading stories on GA. *wipes tears* Lovely story Drew. Sad, but touching.
  7. Her's is right here: https://www.gayauthors.org/story/cia/dribbles/32
  8. This reminded me of an old Loony Toon short. Where Circle, Loop, and Square all danced to music on the screen. Or was it Fantasia? Ethier way, I could picture this story perfectly in my head. Excellent work.

    Bradley's Morning

A Fairy wedding! Loved it. And the description of the Fairy was nice.
  10. Simply amazing. Nathaniel and Zeke, and the black cat, I can see the happy little family living away from the oppressive society.

    Davey Bishop

    Loved it! Nice, and quick.
  18. Simon opened the front door and found a radioactive Dust storm headed his way. Simon stared, shocked, but then Simon remembered he had a Gamma-Ray shield and…. He prepared himself to venture out into the wind. It has been over five years since the gamma-ray burst struck the Earth at an odd angle; killing all life on a quarter of the planet when it did so. Now the survivors of the extinction level event were doing their best to do just that, to survive. Simon was leaving the safety of the fal

  20. Hugs for you Drew. Great poem. Pets can touch us, as much as our fellow Humans do.
  21. Totally agree with you. Those stories are a Dime a Dozen, and there's a couple with that theme here on GA. Evil Republican hates Gays! All those stories play up to stereotypes. They offend me as someone that is a Conservatarian because they unfairly label an entire group of people. The story that prompted me to start this discussion, was the exact opposite. The Evil Democrat who's intolerant against those that don't share the same ideology. Equally offensive to me.
  22. Totally agree with you @Graeme. Info dumps are something I struggle with.
  23. I discovered this story following a link, in old prompts. Wow... nothing I want to share publicly, but I so feel for Sam. Great Story Tim!
  24. Recently, I read a story where the Author put in drops of Modern Politics into his story (Non-GA). Almost to the point of being nauseating. Regardless of ideology, where should an Author draw the line? I personally was turned off by the story, even though it reflected political ideals I follow. It just felt "too much" but at the same time, because of the setting, and location, politics was needed.
  25. Exactly! That's how it works in my story's universe. I love time Travel stories. Take the last Season of CW's The Flash and how they did Flashpoint. That will not occur in my story, as it would get awfully confusing how the Timelines are intersected.
