Hey!! What the hell is wrong with Calgary?!? There are soooo many great things about it, and no, not just the other attractions/cities it is close to, it is great on its own. You are obviously not from Alberta, cause all Albertans know that Edmonton is a hole compared to Calgary....except for maybe the university. The people of Calgary are generous and friendly, making Calgary one of the biggest volunteering cities in Canada....if not North America. Yes, almost everyone in Calgary is from somewhere else in Canada or the US.....but that is because we have the strongest economy in all of Canada. We have the jobs, so people come and the province has supported almost all the others through equalization payments. Me, well I'm at least a fourth generation Calgarian, which is pretty rare. There are truely amazing parts of Calgary, but you wouldn't know that if you were blinded by a few things on the surface.....or maybe you are just jealous of what we have managed to build there..... Congrats on the new place!! Its kind of a scary step but I'm sure you'll love it. Obvisouly Trebs thinks the weight loss/back pain is a big issue, and it very well could be....afterall you've lost 10% of your body mass. Just make sure you (or Mason) are taking care of yourself. On a different note you almost sound as lazy as I am . I'm dying to see grey's, house, and dexter too *drool* G

Happy Birthday Jason!! Hope it was a great one!

I actually did want to do that....unfortunately it is hard to get a biochem degree on a travelling cruize ship, they just don't have the right facilities for those classes. Also that ship was caught in a rather big storm and a fair amount of the ship was damaged and the students traumatized. I think other than the library becoming soaked and some other damages it worked out alright but just goes to show it isn't always fun and sun. Personally I have more interest in the Class Afloat program run out of Canada. You get to sail around the world....on actual old school sailing ships!! It is designed for grade 11 and 12 as well as some first year college classes. Of course I'm too old now but if I ever got the chance to go as a teacher or medical officer I doubt I could say no Greg

Myk agrees with Tiff I generally don't trust people much either, it takes a really really long time before I open up to someone. There are perhaps 2 or 3 people that know me fairly well on this site, and that is after a couple years here. For the most part though I go with the general attage that I trust someone until I get burned. I do get burned a fair bit, but never badly by the same person twice. Cause once my trust is broken it is almost unrecoverable. I hope you find someone worth letting in! Greg
