That crumbling wall I mentioned in a previous chapter is laying all over the ground. He doesn't have the courage to build it back up yet.

I'm happy that Andrew went after Aubrey. He's going to have a hard time convincing Aubrey that he's ready for a committed relationship.

Well that did not end well! At least Tom's and Kat's duplicity is now known. Let's hope Aubrey doesn't run off to Iran!

I think Andrew thought of his "player" lifestyle as harmless and without serious consequences. He's starting to look at it differently. I still think that Drew is the insider source, of course we now know that it is Kat's source, not Aubrey's. I look forward to all the drama leading to Tom's downfall (hopefully).

I personally agree with Aubrey's beliefs, but my family are Christians. I'm perfectly ok with them believing differently from me. I don't want anyone telling me what to believe, why on earth would I tell anyone else to not believe.

I knew I hated them for a reason! I agree that Kat's bro got his heart broken by Andrew. Doesn't excuse Kat for what she's doing. A good sibling would try to build him back up instead of trashing his crush. She's a total user and hypocrite.

I think we got to know Aubrey a lot more in this chapter. Right now he seems like a very wobbly stone wall. Seemingly well put-together at a glance, but a small push away from falling apart. The thing is, the only way to properly fix it is to knock it down and rebuild! He needs to get rid of the bad influences (Tom and Kat), but I don't think he's quite ready for that yet.

I'm guessing it's Drew also. Andrew is immature and has a one-track mind. I mean "delicate dance of courtship", really???? Aubrey is too mature, but also has a one-track mind -- every prominent gay man must be a good role model. That's not fair, look at how many famous straight athletes are man whores! Both need to compromise on their extreme values or we won't have a good romance to read!

I love that Cyn has a family group again, and one more supportive than his original one. He even has other former prey species to bond with. I'm surprised there were only two bunnies --- cause, well you know.

No! We don't want to break their bond! I loved the tenderness that Essell and Garjah showed in the first part of the chapter. This council is practically bipolar! They can't decide whether they want to be rude, scary, nice, funny, helpful. This is a long dinner!

My sister and I shared the camper and A-frame house. When we progressed on to Barbies, we still used them even though it made the Barbies look like amazons! I can't believe I just now picked up on the doctor names! I loved that show. I'm hoping we get closure on the dirty judge and any other child molesters involved with Thing One and Thing Two.

I loved it! That chapter took twice as long to read because I had to keep wiping my eyes and blowing my nose! I was a little worried about the injuries to Bruce and Kyle, but I had confidence in you. Also, I had Weebles and Little People as a kid, yes I'm that old. Great chapter and thanks for the memories.

Another great chapter! I wondered if there was something more than the death of a "coworker" triggering such a big change of living. The death of a partner has such a profound effect on people. I hope that Craig doesn't let James go because he is afraid to take a chance.

What a great and fun chapter! I'm happy that Cyn finally has a real home and family now. But I think we could use some were-spiders to back up our new enforcer. I wouldn't go against them, would you?

I fully agree with my co-readers that an Irish / Texas alliance sounds good. I think that our favorite pack needs some cushion from Steurm, and some allies. Steurm would be the type to take advantage while Vincent is occupied with Stefan. -
This chapter had a foreboding feel to it. I'm worried about their future.

I'm loving this gentle, romantic story featuring real people around my age! Reading about young folks can be fun and new (I'm reading your Pern stories right now and loving them), but I can relate to these characters and there are considerably fewer stories with middle aged love interests. It doesn't hurt that I love home improvement shows and old rustic buildings.

Stuerm seems like the type to throw money and might at any problem and assume that will fix it. He will hopefully under-estimate our heroes as too young and inexperienced. I like how the relationship is developing between Cyrus and Kaplan. -
