    She isn’t telling him what the ritual she is preparing him for is supposed to do. She doesn’t seem to be unnecessarily torturing him. Isaac is alive, even if subdued.

    Dean is an amazing partner. The mysterious message at the end of the will. Julian is getting closer to finding something out, and so are the police, but something is eluding them. Clara is terrific. She loves her grandson and is in for a fight. We learn Arthur lost everything and is just riding on his son’s success.

    So now that they know they really like each other, they are dating? They still have to get to the goddess.

    This chapter was a real breakthrough for the guys. They confessed their love for each other, had their first kiss. And are discussing a possible future together. Their combining of the August with the land, and Fletcher with the animals would give them a good start. I believe grandma would be all in support of them making a go of it together. looking forward to the next chapter.

    Levi is doing the questioning that Matt recommended and it seems to be working. It seems a good choice to go into Thompsonville for lunch and tour around before going to the house. It is an amazing tranquil place. The house and access to the beach will be a new experience as well.

    Owen on this app seems to be slowly getting into it. Cole seems like a nice guy. But his life is so different from our deeply closeted main character. And he’s not a biker guy. Just someone safe to converse with?

    Boom, there it is. Now Alvarez has to make up his mind and quit dancing around Devon. Does he really want a relationship? Or just the idea of a relationship? It haven’t been mentioned what their sleeping arrangements have been since getting the saloon.

    Darn, Wylan did not recognize his friend. Hopefully Darian wakes up, or some other of the vanguard sees Eric fighting? Dieter is hilarious. Are they keeping him?

    Jasper, got Damian to close the interview with the reporter. They’re going to get a big lawsuit. Who new Ryan had this Dom role play in him? The next chapter should be interesting.

    Vince was quite tormented, surviving the Lava, and now seeming to have a good spirit guide, he does not trust, but who could blame him with all of the schemes the evil forest had going on? Jack finds the lord of the underworld. Is he with the wolves who want to go underground? Jack seems to have a way of being found by beings wanting to help him…. Theo is in trouble, fighting evil branches by himself.

    Finally. That revelation and subsequent kiss seems to have them on the same page now. Logan wanted Nico possibly as much as Nico wanted Logan. Looking forward to the next chapter. Which door do they choose?

    Manly woke up for a little bit and got a little water via ice chips in. Hopefully after all of Jake’s talking he wakes up again, feeling a little better. At least he knows he’s in a safe place.

    It seems I’m going to be a dissenting voice about chapter length. One of the things I have loved about your writing, is that you just write until the chapter is done, no matter the length. Granted some chapters are longer than other authors entire stories. The quality of your writing is amazing and I’ll read whatever is written. This story is starting off like so many people’s lives, others planning their life, expecting the child to continue on in the family business, never asking if they are even interested in it. And he knows he is different, so that adds even more pressure. Looking forward to college for him to be away from this toxic environment.

    Devon doesn’t have to worry about his 3 brothers in this town. They are incompetent at robbery, have no weapons and seem not to know about money. He is so much better than them. I think they will come into town and be very surprised by what their brother has done for himself. Love Genevieve, that was a great bet. Hopefully Devon will follow through. The town is getting used to them.
