Loved this chapter. It took me a minute to realize about the timeline being the same as the prior chapter, just from a different perspective.
-
That ending is certainly ominous. The beginning of the backstory was interesting. Hadrian was as not always like he is now. So there is still a mystery to how he became as he is and what is the history of this town that has magic in it. Zain certainly has a lot of power. Will he start to remember his past? Will the people wanting to kill him come to this place too? So many questions… loving this story.

Soren tried telling the truth, but Connor didn’t believe him…
-
Hopefully his released the demon or whatever was haunting the cottage. Will have to see when Pete returns… and what about this tryst to get Eric’s help? What effect will that have on their relationship?
-
Loved the reconciliation. Then what was up with the shouting at Great Mother’s place? Glad Q saved him from hurting himself. At least there is still something there.
-
The twists and turns of this first section of the book has been amazing. Greg’s past has come back, and has given him a new lease on life to have his family well taken care of. Does Greg really not realize that the good Dr has fallen in love with him? Looking forward to the future segments.
-
The reunion I’ve been wondering about, now what to make of the spontaneous shifting? The writing is so good I really feel for these characters. Looking forward to what’s coming.

Greg seems to adapting well to his new position. He seems to innately know what to do in being a vampire. Enthralling his friend without meaning to, changing his eye colors. Leaving us on the cliff of not knowing about what Chris is upset about… I suspect it’s about the business and not about his change… really enjoying these characters.

Tense chapter there for a while. Loved the Apple Watch tracking, the bees were brilliant. Hopefully now thing can begin some normalcy. Is Jeremy going to explain his basically going into witness protection to escape his family?
-
So glad he reunion went well. Having a mate like Asa to show off was great. now that Asa has scanned the twins he probably has an idea of what he has to do. Wonder if the haling he does could be translated into an antidote? That would help speed healing other hybrids, and not tax Asa too much. They’re going to be busy for weeks healing pups as it is now.

Great chapter, fighting off Oblivion in his weakened dream state. Then taking 20 years to get an antidote… is he aging slower here than he would on Earth? There was a mention of time moving differently in this world, and he just looks like a young teenager now. When he is able to find his Josh, will they be able to pick up their relationship?

Terry, this chapter is amazingly well written, the love that there is between these two men, their friendship, it really comes through. That they are again accosted by the same one who has tormented Jubal from the beginning, was a shock. I kept thinking the Sherrif had not been gone that long and maybe heard the gunshot, but then they had time to have a meal so he’d likely be back in town. The do whatever it takes to defend Lucas attitude, has Jubal take some amazing steps. Glad Prescott is dead and the are on their way to town for medical help. I really feel for your loss, our animal companions really are special and when they leave, it tears a little of your heart. Be well in this time of grief.

Great chapter. Connor learns his lesson that Shamus is willing to change and be challenged on his older beliefs. The idea of incorporating the other smaller packs of wolf and other shifters in the area seems like a good idea. All of the pups studying shifter history together is a good idea. The farming the hay and ideas to bring in more money is sound. Learning how to operate the farm equipment and the necessary safety is very good. I learned to drive a tractor before anything else, so that takes me back. Looking forward to the reunion of Connor and Dakota.

Really loved this chapter. The conversation with Corbin laid the groundwork for a business relationship for the three of them. Indicating that they will be coming back to this area long term. The mating was awesome, the immediate change to wolf for Asa was profound. And the continuing sexual contact upcoming with them flipping roles should only strengthen the changes in both of them. Will Asa need to teach Caleb more about how to use his light shifter powers? Seems like he was able to shift to that form easily enough.

Travis is so out of it with this poison that he can even get Oblivion to come forward to help him? Abe is doing his best to save him and find who did the poisoning.
-
Lessons in politics, and he outed himself as a werewolf. Now to build some mental toughness with regards to the wolf’s sex drive…
-
Loved this chapter, seeing more of the property, and the haircut and shave. Haircuts are intimate, but shaving is so trusting and on a whole other level. Reid is a thorn in Lucas’s side. Reid needs to let go. Jubal is being a gentleman letting them have their conversation in the cabin. He does seem to be missing all of the hints that Lucas is throwing out there.

Good Fighting all of the creatures attacking them. Does Travis have some other connection to JJ, as he did seem to sense he was in danger at the conversion camp.
-
It’s so sad that Simon is gone. It looks like order may be in Connor’s future.
-
Oh, that’s a horrible turn of events for JJ, his first Tim and his parents are just crazy about his sexuality.
-
Glad that the boys are back in a good space with each other. The mystery of the voice that James is channeling is interesting. Could this be a tomb for the ones depicted in the fresco?
-
So glad that all of Rusty’s supporters pushed him into this. They both confessed a lot. The proposal was a very good surprise. Looking forward to their future.
-
Wow, I’m assuming Zain is going to be coming through the vortex in the forest. What a surprise that will be for all of them. This Sherrif is a sneaky one… is he one of the gang murdering magical beings?

This is a great story for October. Off to a spooky supernatural start. Is Mark ok or was the operating room his imagination?

And They All Lived Happily Ever After - Well, Most of Them
VBlew commented on Lee Wilson's story chapter in And They All Lived Happily Ever After - Well, Most of Them
Thanks for tying everything up. Not a HEA, but then most of life is not a fairy tale.
