    Thanks so much for this story. Even though I’m past 70, This site and others have helped me become more comfortable with myself. I’m also somebody who has never quite fit in. Your story made me realize I haven’t really settled on a label and so I changed my profile to “still figuring it out”. Please keep writing for us!

    Yes, it’s somewhat random. I received a notification for Grumpybear’s first chapter but not the second. And I received notifications for several other authors.

    Don’t know that I blame Huntington, but I didn’t get notifications for several authors. I reported it. Although this was a chapter where I would happily miss the ending.

    Just a minor quibble—I follow authors but usually not stories. So the warning about not following the story is superfluous for me. I’m basically following the story by default.

    And also Carlos Hazday— With all due respect to two of my favorite authors, I have to get out my somewhat cobwebbed editor’s pen—the singular is “ellipsis”. An ellipse is an oval shape with a specific mathematical definition.
