I honestly just don't understand F'drun and his actions. He has to know they are detrimental to not just D'gar but the whole wing.

I loved this chapter. Jihan has done as much as he can do with his interactions with the people of Silver Valley. Kastan must make sure that those in the Valley know that Jihan has his heart and trust. The Empress is going to continue to cause issues. Not sure anyone is really going to be happy with how that plays out. The future is never set; even the smallest pebble can change what is coming.

F'drun is going to continue to cause problems, the main issue I see is that his attitude and behavior makes it more likely that he is going to do something that causes someone to get hurt. Of course, it will never be his fault but... D'gar and H'rek seem to be feeling each other out. I hope they can continue to find common ground.

Well, hell.... Wonderfully written and the pacing was perfect...

OMG, I so loved this latest epilogue to Black Widow. This next story is just going to be kick ass. JJ reminds me so much of Stef when he was just a few years older. The new medication just be helping; but also, I really do think that JJ cares about Carullo on a different level than anyone he has been with before. Not saying they will ride off into suburbia and live happily ever after; as if JJ would ever live in suburbia... If he new medication is working; JJ may need more therapy to help him deal with how he sees his body and the changes that may occur. Brad and Jake are so cute together. I always loved Robbie but it is time for Brad to really move past him. Robbie had issues but I personally always thought a lot of his issues were from how Brad acted toward him and some of the so called teasing he got from others. I do hope that Jake stays around for a while at least, because he seems to keep Brad on a somewhat even keel. Bravo Mark, Bravo...

While Granger made a steal with the necklace, but I am sure that if possible he will get the Duchess some more money; he read the situation in Mitau perfectly. The attitude is part of the reason that the Bourbons lost the crown the second time. Charles X was very conservative and tried to reverse the Charter of 1814 which created France as a constitutional monarchy with the King still enjoying significant powers but not absolute. Charles X and his son were forced to abdicate and the House of Orleans took over. Love how Granger and Winkler truly understand each other; there is nothing that Winkler would not do for Granger and Granger considers Winkler so much more than just a man servant. They have a long past and a longer future ahead. On to Saint Petersburg, can't wait to see what happens. A wonder chapter, and the writing just sparkles.

When it was so obvious that the brown dragon and his rider was not ready to be back; that falls on the wing second, or should. Great writing the tension was conveyed so well.

I would think that Ronnie would do well or even better in a team setting. He doesn't seem to be the kind of person that wants to standout alone all the time. All of the others in his small team are interesting in one way or another; of course, Maya remains a favorite. Taran and he seem to be progressing.

Loved this chapter, Maya needs to help Ronnie figure out how to block some of this thoughts and emotions.

F'drun is an ass and someone needs to get rid of him fast. Good chapter, flowed really well. I like the interplay between the group after they showed up in the morning. Keep the chapters coming...

Just perfect, the debrief was painful for Taran but more because his father seems to view him as less than; there has to be more than what we have seen so far. Maya has already given Taran her advice, and I am sure it would mirror mine, but no one can make that decision for another person.

Not sure a training area is the right place to do anything personal; but Ronnie is right, Taran needs to relax some. Of course, if he would just tell his parents the truth, then he would not need to worry about anyone finding out, although, I am pretty sure his mother already knows...

Wonderful chapter, the flight was well written and very exciting. H'rek did better this time, partly because he had been through it once; but mostly because D'gar was there to help him. I hate to think what would have happened if their dragons had not been the ones to mate. Communication is key...

I think it was clearly a mistake for Chris to have absorbed the energy from the Demon General but not sure what the alternative to doing so was. He needs to be more honest about what is happening, if he remembers what happened in the dream, or was it even a dream? Glad that Leo is gaining some power, do think it is because of his relationship with Chris, but not sure how that works out. Good chapter, keep up the good work.

Taran needs to find another way to work out some of these frustrations. He also needs to make sure that someone above his level is aware of his full encounter. For there to be someone of that power level around; well everyone needs to be aware of it.

H'reck ended up being more than a little brusque, actually sort of an ass at the end; but I do still like him. D'gar needs to find a connection with somebody, but not being weyr born doesn't seem to understand all the nuances; and damn someone should have explained things to those that were searched, especially those that got green dragons. Enjoyed the chapter, hope the next one is as good.

Well, is there going to be hardly a King that Granger hasn't slept with by the time he is through... This trip to St Petersburg seems to be full of high adventure. I can see that Caroline is going to get a new lovely piece of jewelry. I do hope that when Granger gets back to London those in the government truly extend their thanks to Granger for the way he has given his body and soul to helping out and find out new information... Great job once again, Mark... Can't wait for the next update...

Liked the part with Brad and Jake, I do think it is time for Brad to move on; although I will always love Robbie. I think that Brad and Jake could be really good for each other as along as they communicate.. I really like Beverly, she seems to be a level headed woman that doesn't take shit from anyone. I can't fully decide about Mike; but I am trying to like him as much. I do like Colin but have to wonder why Will always seems to find a guy that either can't handle being out or can't be out for some other reason. LOVED JJ's section. I do worry about JJ's idea that he is fat, with everything else he is dealing with an eating disorder isn't something that would work in his favor. I actually think he might be able to deal with Carullo's friends more than I suspected. He busted their ass about football. Great job Mark, can't wait to see where you take the next book.

Honestly, did not care for the ending to this chapter. Everything Owen went through is just being brushed off; even if those that did him wrong are being punished in some way, he is not dealing with what happened. Just seems like it is cheating him and us out of what he needs to go through.

I almost feel sorry for Cravin. He got caught up in something and then did not know how to get out. Owen still needs to be the one to confront some of these people, it will make it easier for him to move forward. Not everyone has the personal strength to do so, but with his mate at his side, I would hope he would.

Although talking to Grayson might be okay for Owen, I am going to bet it doesn't end up being just him. Owen needs to confront at least his parents to let them know how their behavior hurt him. It is very hard to move forward without dealing with the past.

Well, damn, it just all came pouring out. Even if Mica left the coven, and not sure that is as easy as it sounds; Owen has some real deep seated issues that won't be just glossed over. Plus, there are those in the coven that should be punished for what Owen went through...
