An interesting story, a western with a twist. Well written and different, but the two main protagonists pull you into their lives rapidly. A testament to love and honor.

A western with an edge, well written and full of passion and power. Two men, one blessed or cursed, and the other his faithful companion. They hold back the darkness even as others try and destroy them out of fear and not understanding what they are. They find a way to seal the breach, it gives one his freedom, and allows them to settle down to a more simple life. They grow old, and closer, and find that in a quiet togetherness there is a silent testament to love and honor.

Delicious chapter, and how these two are meant to be together. Back then people realized it, but nowadays people forget about how important water is, one thing you can't live without. August and Fletcher made good progress, and glad to see August worrying about the horses, smart and keeping them healthy and in good shape will be a benefit to all. Good idea to bred them, if you can find the right stallion, always good to have a few extra good horses. Do hope that Runyon and Willie James are okay.

First of all, Levi should never have gone with Casey. Second, he should have just owned up to what happened, it probably would cost him his learner's permit and delay him getting his license but would have been better than this.

Lovely chapter. Everything came together really well for Iphigenia. And those that are closest to Alex were there and more than complimentary. An opera?!?! Looks like this production will be going to TV, always great to get that kind of exposure. Charlie and Marcin seem to be developing slowly, glacially even, but I think for Charlie's sake, that is good. And Neil is going to have a show as well. A bit of exposure for him, and maybe raise his profile for his mother and brother a bit as well. Glad the card seemed to do the trick with his mother. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Brilliant, I went into this one with a question mark, as I do not usually enjoy alternate history stories, but this was spot on. The characters were wonderful, but the story and idea behind it were the star of the show. While written about the past, this is very telling for the current times we live in. History is mutable and how we few it is rarely straight forward. Just brilliant.

Lovely story, well written and the characters were truly interesting. Love how Aunt Millie had some abilities but only used them to make her life and those she cared about a little eaiser. Hate that Benny didn't have much contact after his marriage, but that often happens, you get busy with your life and come contacts fall by the wayside, even if they were important to you. If they had stayed in contact, perhaps Millie would have eventually opened up, but we will neve know. Let's hope Benny is as successful as Millie was at practicing white magic.

No rain for weeks here, and I would take all that I could get, even if it came with lightning and thunder. I have always been fascinated by lightning though. As always, thanks for the look back...

Who is going to turn Austin? Does it make him stronger the stronger the person that turns him is? How long to reach full strength once he is turned? Aaron loves Nathaniel with an all-consuming passion that burns hotter than fire. Nathaniel loves Aaron equally, but sometimes I think he sees some of the things around them more clearly. Aaron and Austin will never be besties, but they both possess a lot of things to be appreciated for, and I think the more time they are around each other, the more they will appreciate each other. Nathaniel is right, only Xavier can decide if he wants Austin in every way. I think Austin has already decided but will never force the issue unless he knows that Xavier wants him on every level. This is just getting better and better.

Well, they each know about the other's past, that is good. No secrets that they have to worry about popping up. Parkinson's isn't a linear type of disease. It can jag and cut and then drawback, then leap forward. You can be diagnosed and spend years with little movement and then bam, or you can get diagnosed and immediately start progressing. You just never know. That said, maybe his sister dreams of taking on the ranch and he could be free to reach for his dream. We will just have to see how this progresses.

For the love of all that is holy, can someone not push Kendo down a flight of stairs or something... I cannot believe that Travis is letting him into his personal life at all. Travis is getting bitchier when dealing with Will and probably other family members as he gets more caught up in this drug cocktail mess, mostly because he thinks they will pick up on something, or at least that is how I see it.
