Thanks @FSELL for such a great update. I can't believe its taken me so long to read this chapter after you posted it more than two weeks ago - but I've been reading so many other stories on here I missed the update being listed! Jamie & Ben are just so right for each other and thinking ahead I think they would make great parents. Hope we see another update soon. -
Excellent chapter @lilansui. I wasn't 100% convinced Rory would be able to assure Illaria that Milan would be safe with him - so I'm delighted he was able to do that. I wonder who Ayu is interested in - are we sure there's a girl involved???? Looking forward to the next instalment.

Now, there is a slight jump in chapters, you're not missing any story, just a slight issue with the numbering. 😎 Milan's wolf is white with gold on his tail and at his neck. 💓💓 I so wanna see a picture of them both in wolf form. Wow @Bill W what a fantastic story. I have loved reading Book1 over the past couple of days and I'm really looking forward to reading the others over the time ahead. We've not really had any really sad times (death of a loved one for example) so I'm sure there will be some of those ahead but I'm sure you'll have written about those as sensitively as you have done all the other situations that have happened so far. One loose end (unless I've missed it being resolved) was Kevin's testicle cyst - did we ever have the 1 month check-up? Just to make sure he's okay! Mark -
Fantastic chapter @lilansui. Lots of things still to look forward to:- Milan's first shift - what colour wolf will he be? (I'm guessing jet black as a counterpoint to Rory.) What will Illaria do when she sees his wolf? What will happen to Kiyo? The reintegration of the pack from the swamplands. How will Rick be dealt with? I know all good things come to an end but I'll be really sad when this story is completed. 😭

Well that was a bit of an emotional chapter so I can see how difficult it was for you to write @Thorn Wilde. I'm sure that Stephen & Lewis together with Michael will help Daniel going forward. Loz is now in very serious trouble and is also desperately in need of help which I hope comes before he does himself any harm. Great chapter as always and I hope the next one isn't too far away.

This is just such a great story @northie, the characters are all so real. Looking forward to the next chapter. And if Eric and/or Andy/Adam could end up in the world of CJ & Ozzie (even just as a mention and not even F2F) that would be superb! (@Carlos Hazday)

Great chapter Tim. There'll be tears, tantrums and shouting (and that's just from Louis) before we go much further but I love how you've got this story set-up. I'm sure Max will grow to love being with Don & Louis - eventually! Looking forward to the next chapter (have we really got to wait a whole week?). 😃 Mark

I was in the same boat as you but I have now read the whole of the first story this afternoon and it's absolutely fantastic! It will give you a lot of the background to the characters and their relationships. Enjoy your reading @Fae Briona.

Have just read this and then realised (from the Author comments) that there was a previous story in the life of Don & Louis - which I'm now speed reading so I can get all the background straight in my head. I'm looking foward to reading where this story goes so I hope it's not too long before we see the next chapter. Well done @Mikiesboy on writing such an interesting story. Mark

Thankyou @lilansui - what a great chapter. Rory is Alpha of Portento and will be for many many years I'm sure - with Milan at his side. Though before we get to that the mating ritual and Milan's first shift will have to happen - I'm looking forward to you describing that. Goodbye Rick - I hope you never darken our pages ever again.

Crikey @JayT - how could you make us wait almost 4 months for an update to this great story? Anyway, as forgiveness seems to be the in thing; I forgive you. 😍 Fantastic chapter and I love Granma! Now that TJ and Scott have spoken to each other I can now go ahead and read Ch 1 of the second story in this saga (as judging by the story summary it will make more sense now). Now stop reading all these comments and get back to working on Ch 12. Mark xx

See - I told you Ozzie would be fine! Okay, a broken wrist isn't "fine" but it's a lot better than some of you were thinking! I love reading about CJ and Ozzie and everything they (and their friends) get up to - thankyou @Carlos Hazday for another chapter in the lives of these young men.
