Jevikel is the eldest son of a Holder, living at an isolated farmhold on the eastern edge of Bitra. A re-interpretation of a Classic Fairy Tale:

Work is hard to come by and he has to compete with the animal/human hybrids called DemiShou, forcing him to make his way in less than savory methods. Getting off-planet sounds like a godsend, but fate has a way of complicating the best opportunities of a man with little luck.

This fictional story shows how people from different backgrounds can try to support others in a time of desperation, few real tales of homelessness have a happy ending.

It is written as a tribute to those who in the past and present have given and continue to give either time, money or other support to homeless shelters across the globe. Also in the hope that it will inspire others to do so in the future in whatever small way that they are able.

Manchester 2009. Adam, 25, has just broken up with his long term boyfriend and moves to the city despite knowing nobody and nothing about city life.
