Based on Prompt# 694 - "I'm tired of this, so I'm going home."

The first story in (hopefully) a series based on some of the students at Oxbow Lakes HS

This is a tale of the Forgotten Realms, taken from the Baldur's Gate series. An orphan raised by a sage in the library fortress of Candlekeep is forced to flee for his life from forces who want him dead. He must discover who is hunting him and why, while keeping his friends safe. A tall order for a half-elf who has never left the library before.

It's 2222, and Mike finds himself a very reluctant, sixteen-year-old new inhabitant on one of the lunar colonies. Bored out of his mind, he ends up writing with someone all the way on Mars. But exchanging messages takes, forever! The transmission delay is huge. Will a friendship be able to even form in all of this? Let alone blossom?

This is a poem I wrote as a teenager about the ravages of war. History repeats itself, and lessons are never learned.

Sam couldn't explain why he spent so much time on his long journey, reliving life through dream novels as a teenage boy on Earth, a planet humans had long ago abandoned. Not that anyone even knew where it was anymore. Now, humans were, methodically searching the galaxy for planets suitable for terraforming, spending hundreds of years building interconnecting black strings and then sending colony ships of embryos in stasis. Sam was the only adult crew member on his ship, one of an armada that comes under attack. As the sole survivor, he must figure out what to do when faced with almost certain oblivion.

Jaime is a 30yo Firefighter that is restarting his life. Trying to break free of this overprotective family, controlling ex-inlaw, while having some fun along the way and maybe learning a life lesson or three as well. Can Jamie do it... let's see.

Another weekend, another out-of-town wedding for CJ and Owen. This time, Liebe comes along. She’ll serve as the flower girl for CJ’s high school classmate, Autumn Dingell. Surrounded by the magnificence of Mackinac Island’s Grand Hotel and by Michigan political royalty, CJ reconnects with old friends and meets new people who may play a role in his future
