Having dealt with deep depression I found that by writing it helped get a lot of my feelings out and made it easier to get through the days I hope that maybe someone will understand and maybe it just MIGHT be something that someone else can relate to

Depression… Sometimes feelings go deeper than just a general unease. Sometimes they slide down to the pit of your soul and you can’t seem to get them to climb back up.

These poems reflect those moments in my life. Some reflect moments that I thought would be the last of my life.

A collection of ideas and what-not.

A midlife single university teacher in ornithology feels deeply unhappy with his life so far and starts pondering what made it that way. But although he is able to find part of the answers, he doesn’t have the courage to change it. When he is sent on a field research job in Alaska, the total change in environment brings him this courage and he enjoys the new-found freedom with the help of an extraordinary guide.

Sharing no common interest or having utterly disparate lifestyles did not stop them from falling in love. However the grand challenge for Sam and Shawn was never about discovering their love for each other but on learning how to remain together. Just look inside and take a peek.

I like writing, I do it when I'm bored, happy, sad, afraid, brave, strong, weak, or just feeling inspired. Some are good, some are great. Some are bad, some are terrible. And some are just parts that I like out of the stories that I write. So without further a due... I give you my first poetry anthology; Falling.

Autobiographical in nature, some chapters told through an attempt at a chiasmus. My thoughts and feelings on life, based upon my own experience.

Reading chapters in order is unnecessary.

This a love story. A challenging, bittersweet romance between a poet and a painter. Tarek loves Tommy, who suffers from depression and mental illness. They are happy – for a time.
