Based on Prompt# 694 - "I'm tired of this, so I'm going home."

The first story in (hopefully) a series based on some of the students at Oxbow Lakes HS

Brody and Jace have been inseparable best friends since the first day of kindergarten. By the time they reached high school, they were boyfriends hiding their love from pretty much everybody. They're full of hope and plans for a future together when graduation's just a few months distant. But lying about a weekend away leads to both families discovering their secret. All the choices that led them to that moment are complicated by a flurry of heat-of-the-moment choices made by both sets of parents. In the end, Brody and Jace make a few more choices that may just alter the future for everybody.

Joey and Charlie face a life altering event. One that will forever change their relationship with each other and their friends. Nineteen year old Charlie must fight to keep him and his fourteen year old brother, Joey, from being separated. They embark on a journey of discovery about themselves, relationships, and life.

Jeff's a decent guy from the wrong side of the tracks. Badly hurt by a failed relationship, he's wary of commitment. Evan lost his first love ten years ago and still isn't quite over it. After a chance meeting, they realize that this could be more than they ever hoped for, if they can find the courage to trust and believe.

Jarred Fedina's a high school sophomore who's got a problem....his boyfriend. Jarred's been thinking about leaving him for another guy for a while. Then, one day during a chance encounter, Jarred has an epiphany.

Desmond, Gabriel, and Sam return in this sequel to Specter's Gamble, which takes place two years after the events in the first book. (book II in the series)

Colt has a violent past. He was expelled for beating up another classmate, and he and his family are moving to another town because of it. New house, new town, new start. Only Colt foresees a lot more violence in his future once he realizes his new friend, Noah, is in trouble.

Roy Patterson just moved into town. About to be a high-school junior, he was not really happy with the move. But his dad got a promotion, he got a bedroom of his own. Leaving a few good friends didn't make up for all that. Two weeks in and he hasn't found anyone who could be a friend.

That all changes one Sunday. The circumstances around that change are, to say the least, a bit odd.

Nick always knew he was different. He was born when his parents were teenagers, and his mother died when he was six months old. This left his father to raise him all alone. After vacationing in Virginia, Nick's dad decides to move them across the country. Adapting to his new life is hard, but just when he's ready to give up, he meets a new friend, Taylor. While all of this is happening, Nick learns that it's okay to be different.
