Five Colorado teens face the horrors of nuclear and biological war and civil disorder

A gay man, Robert Campbell, gets severely beaten after performing in a Drag Show. Other crimes against members of the gay community soon follow, and all of these cases are assigned to a gay detective. Will he get the cooperation needed to solve these crimes or will he face numerous and unnecessary roadblocks?

Derek Arriens had always been the kind of boy to help others, so ending up with a career as an EMT after high school wasn’t a surprise to him or anybody who knew him. Derek volunteered for the rescue squad as soon as he got his license at 16 1/2. Three years later something happened that made him wonder if he should consider a change of career.

Grant is a man new to his work and to the East Coast of the United States. He has been given every opportunity and chance, and has capitalized on that as he starts his new life. Troy has lost almost everything, and his life over the last sixteen months has been nothing but a struggle.
