The Eighth Pass is over. At Fort Weyr, D’gar, Herebeth’s rider faces the future without his weyrmate, lost to Thread just two Falls before the last.
When Lessa brings the five Weyrs forward to the beginning of the Ninth Pass, he must face his fears, try to adapt to an altered world and take the risk of falling in love all over again.

As I push my boundaries, I learn more about this type of writing. My comfort level increases and hopefully my skill improves. Unlike writing larger stories where the canvas I paint on is vast, there is a beauty in writing poetry and telling a story or drawing an images in a few words.

The Southern project is coming to an end. Riders and dragons prepare for the return to Benden Weyr to fight Thread.

It's the first Hatching at the newly formed Southern Weyr. A group of candidates ponder over whether they will be lucky enough to Impress.

David Henderson's parents were splitting up, and David was off to stay for a few weeks with his favorite grandfather in the city while his mom and dad sorted out a few things. He loved visiting his grandfather, and figured he would at least spend the two-week visit having some fun.

But soon a small mystery cropped up, followed by a meeting with someone new and special. And in almost no time, David's world was to change forever.

Arad Ansari is a homeless street slug in the Grey District A-5 colony. Work is hard to come by and he has to compete with the animal/human hybrids called DemiShou, forcing him to make his way in less than savory methods. Getting off-planet sounds like a godsend, but fate has a way of complicating the best opportunities of a man with little luck.
