When first published, it gathered lots of support, and large numbers of positive reviews. However, please be warned that there are scenes of unpleasant school bullying in a couple of chapters, and a sexual scene later in the story that borders on rape.

There are leaps of faith. Is there a leap of hope? Originally written as a response to Prompt#448:" What did he just say?" It just kept growing.

Meadowbrooks was the kind of town you dreamed of escaping from. Conservative, redneck and anti anything progressive. Bryan had an escape plan though.
