This is a fan-fiction based on Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series. This is kind of an Alternate Universe, because this takes place shortly before the 4th Pass and there is no canon to base this on -- which is precisely why I chose it!

Buying and restoring an abandoned house was supposed to be Greg and David's retirement project. After losing David, Greg has to decide whether or not he wants to honor David's dream. After receiving a sign he can't ignore, Greg proceeds to buy a dilapidated Victorian and begin the restoration process. Along the way, he discovers the house holds some surprising secrets, which can help his healing process, if he takes the time to listen.

Jason and his friends are getting involved in an apocalyptic plot that is based on an old prophecy that had been hidden in a cloister. Brother Simon finds the text in the year 1012. He flees the cloister in search of the man who can stop the end of the world: the man Jason. May 2012: Jason Bolding is haunted by nightmares. Slowly, he and his friends find out what the dreams are all about and they realize that time is running out. No romance plot.

Harlon lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and his father lives across the country in a small collection of buildings called Black Dog, Washington. Harlon wants to make this an adventure. He will take the train to Chicago and hitchhike from there to Black Dog. It's been over a week, since Harlon left Chicago on a trip that's been anything but an adventure. He is welcomed into a semi by Steve Lennard for what he hopes is his last ride.

When a secret gets out and things unexpectedly go awry, Owen finds himself living with his twin brothers, an ideal situation for him. But not everything's perfect under the surface, and as he falls for his neighbor, makes new friends and learns to trust again it's a long road to making things right.
