In response to first line Prompt,"So you decide to tell me this now?"

A collection of emo-esque poetry, so I guess that makes me an esque-emo. So by my logic, if you like igloos, you'll love this. :P

This is the story of a gay National Serviceman (an Army conscript) during the South African / Angolan war in the 1980s.

The first few chapters deal with the main character's basic training. After Basics he is sent to the border (that is what we called Namibia), where he experiences his first firefight.

He falls in love during basics. During the firefight they both realise the depth of their love for each other.

After several years Casey faces the man who made him the person he is now, making him face his past and the present.

Tyler lives in a fraternity and is deep in the closet. He has a secret crush on an openly gay boy named Parker, but he was always too afraid to talk to him in public. One day he discovers a way to finally catch him alone. [Spoiler] Things go horribly wrong from there.

A boy wanders into a church seeking warmth and finds a lot more.
