The spring of 2013. Reality TV takes over the 'Peoples' Court,' and camera crews vie for the best angles. While real couples, with real lives, are barred from entering the Chambers, corporate interests have 'free-speeched' their money around and bought a spectacular Reality event broadcast Live! from the Chambers themselves. Stay tuned.

The lens of the camera is shallow. It sees colour and shape. It gives the illusion of motion in two dimensions. It draws the light from the dark. In that space between lens and subject, between picture and reality, lies solitude.

Jonah lived in that solitude, content within its embrace.

Speechless

A semi-autobiographical story about a library that brings together two boys, reveals some secrets, and leaves them speechless.

Nate (Nathan) Chelmsford, 27, an aspiring writer and IT guy 6’2” 345 lbs. Sandy blond hair, long over the ears, but short in back. Full beard. Shining light green eyes. Pale skin, southern.

Curtis Stalhorn, 25, an athlete 5’10:, 190 lbs. Auburn hair, clean cut, no facial hair, dark brown eyes.

These two met at university and became roommates. They were about half way through their lease when the two beds became one. They’ve been together for three years; but it hasn’t been easy.

After dreaming of his brother the first night he moves out of home, Declan writes to his Jason, realising that moving on takes time.
