Do you believe in love at first sight?

A teen boy and his Gay best friend spot a girl in the Agora one day, and the auburn youth falls head over heels -- much to his friend's surprise. A week later, the boy has a plan to meet her and sets it into action.

My entry for the Sub-Genre Rewrite the Prompt Challenge. Mystery Noir/Hard-Boiled. A hardened and weary detective sees a lady in over her head and the only spark of good left in his soul compels him to intervene.

After one man dies in the real world, he wakes up to find he has transmigrated into Red Riding Hoodie, the worst novel he ever had the misfortune of reading.

As he awakens, he's greeted by the Re: Life System, who tells him his "account" is now bound to the character Hal Schuyler, the original hero of the novel (who is petty and a huge asshole). He realizes he has to change the story to avoid being killed by the main character's sometimes friend, Alaric. But the System has other ideas, not allowing him to act too out-of-character to avoid derailing the plot.

A despairing novelist encounters a mystery.

In facing our shadows we find whence comes our strength. In accepting our past we can accept our present.

How does the end begin?

The honeymoon phase is over. Way over. Now what?

Mark and his friends were always the odd ones out. But when a new boy starts to go to his school their lives are turned around. Mark is persistant on finding out what Erik has to hide about himself. And Erik is persistant on Mark never finding out. Will Erik's secret destroy the world that MArk thought was normal?

Allan just wanted to get a bit of rest, get closer to his roommate, but the world had other ideas.
