This is a collection of my memories of Guero.

When young librarian Rowan finds a letter hidden in a book, his curiosity gets the better of him. He tracks down the owner: an ex-Navy SEAL living alone in the woods. Grant is the rugged man of anyone’s dreams, but he’s sullen and withdrawn – a damaged hero struggling with the loss of his hearing.

Sensing a man in need of company, Rowan starts learning sign language to communicate with him, and an unconventional friendship forms. But their differences may be too vast to overcome… even as an intense, forbidden attraction simmers behind every stolen glance and signed word.

Super Senior Dave Shinozaki-Sanderson has only six hours to write a 10,000 word short story and save the world from The Trespassers' evil plan to destroy the Moon. Dun dun dun. I had a lot of fun working on this story. Plus, there are footnotes!

Gang violence had become an issue, intensifying when gangs began to use a cheap barbers razor as a weapon of choice; this deadly item being used to cut, mutilate and kill rivals.

Wes Carter is an accomplished and successful banker. He's attractive in his own unique ways. In his eyes, nothing beats the golden Adonis; the blondies. They are the perfect human species. Wes finds himself unable to resist their smell, temptations, and body. However, what if… these Adonises bring nothing but bad luck to Wes?

Steve and Chris, who met and became close in Thrift Shop Nation, return in another tale.

Working at the thrift shop has proved to be both interesting and rewarding for the boys. The summer is nearing its end, but both want the job to go on. They have been discovering that the thrift shop is more than just a job, and that Debbi is more than just a boss.

And that life among the world of 'previously owned' items is a long way from being dull...

I am told this is a "Haibun" or "Quick Writing," as it is translated. It is a partial narrative, and partial poetic treatment of a very difficult journey I am even now completing.

Two strangers meet for the first time. The mutual attraction between them is undeniable. However, will this connection blossom into a full blown love affair, or will the emotional baggage within them tears them apart.
