These stories are written as exchanged e-mails and reading this way is an acquired taste. But the first book of this series, Web Guys, has a small, loyal following, so here's the second.

Can he get there in time? Or will he lose the one thing that means most to him as the world falls apart?

I took a story I entered in an Anthology and rewrote it and added to it to make it into a Halloween story. I hope you enjoy reading about Mason and Clark's relationship, even though it didn't work out. Mason erroneously believed it was over, but Clark had other plans. Will this situation ever resolve itself, or should Mason get as far away from Clark as possible?

Human werekin, the public face for their kind, are treated as slaves by most even though they protect the hidden bonded werekin to protect them from human discovery. Deke allowed the cultural schism to drive away the man he loved. They received news of a tragic accident, and he believed he lost Kraig forever. All he has left is his duty.

When the unexpected happens, it will take every ounce of his conviction and control to protect not only his streak but the man his heart beats for.

The lens of the camera is shallow. It sees colour and shape. It gives the illusion of motion in two dimensions. It draws the light from the dark. In that space between lens and subject, between picture and reality, lies solitude.

Jonah lived in that solitude, content within its embrace.
