A short story based at a dog show about two young men who fall in love.

A rather dark tale, at least in the first part.

A few days after spending Thanksgiving with Seth’s parents, Seth and Adam receive a call from Seth’s father informing them that Seth’s mother has passed away. They went to spend time with Seth’s father so they could console him and help to plan the funeral, but two days later Seth’s father passes away as well. This was a horrible start to the Christmas season, so what can they possibly do to make it better?

A stranger rides into town on his motorcycle and pulls up in front of the local coffee shop. Once inside, he starts up a conversation with one of the locals.

Most everyone's days follow the same routine. What happens when your day starts and ends the same, but it's everything in between that leads you down a path to take a leap of faith?

Meet Nick. He's about to have one of those days where it's the stuff in the middle that makes a difference.

Andy and his mom move in with Aunt Glady's deep in the country, only to find that the openly gay boy next door has been openly fantasizing about Andy being his for over two years.
A small issue though, Andy isn't gay. . .

This promises to be an emotional roller coaster. It was my very first story in this genre and remains my favorite. Keep a box of tissue nearby. Both kinds of tears, happy and sad.
