Youth passes by alarmingly, and for most people, the simple days of childlike wonder are a flood of nostalgia. At a certain age, we all reflect back on our growing up experiences and wish for some of the good old times... this is some of mine, but many can relate as the desire to be young again, sometimes, is one and it's own.

A story I wrote when I was 19 in college, the story revolves around four high school teens and their in-school and out-of-school shenanigans. Playful and silly, a story for the teens and the high school artists within us and among us.

Ren hates New Year's. He actually hates every holiday extravaganza in New York City, but New Year's is the worse for him. It's loud, it's crowded and every time he goes out with his best friend on a holiday, something wild happens.This year he decides to go out with his friend and, as predicted, something wild does happen...possibly wild enough to make Ren stop hating New Year's.

Zephyr never had any friends before he started started high school. He was always "that weird chick". Now, he has lots of friends, but only a few who he can really identify with- the other transgender kids. One of them, a girl named Jenny, introduces him to Peter, the fourth, and maybe the last, boy he's ever loved.

School Counselor Connor Lewis groups up with two out gay/lesbian students. They work together to try and make the school more accepting of homosexuals. Over the years of working closely with the students, relationships are formed for after high school.
