How fast these months go! Is it nearly Halloween where you live? Are you ready for some tricks or treats? Or maybe you celebrate All Hallow's Eve another way? Or... maybe the whole thing freaks you out, and you'd rather read a story set firmly in the present? Maybe a little second-chance? If so, I hope you enjoyed Mitchelll's Mr. Brightside! Don't forget to share your thoughts in a comment below, but my first we have my interview with him!   What brought you to Gay Authors? I lik

November's C S R Feature: Street Life by Graeme

November is here, and this month I wanted to feature something different. There are a lot of stories on the site with themes that involve some heavy subjects that can really make you think, but one of the best of those is an older story that many current readers probably haven't found since it was posted for a 2008 anthology themed "Living in the Shadows".   Street Life by Graeme   Length: 16,661   Description: *Reader warning* This story does contain mature th

When Opportunity Knocks by kbois Length: 96,473 Description:  Jett Anderson and Kyle Benton are starting to build a relationshi

November CSR Feature: Those Cerulean Eyes by Arran

Happy November! Just 2 months left until 2019 comes to a close, and I thought I'd feature a story that just came to a close as well, Those Cerulean Eyes by Arran. Long-time member of the site, this is one of a few stories Arran posted this year. Did you read it? If not, here's your chance before the Discussion day at the end of the month! Also, I'm still looking for ideas on how to feature site stories and authors to change up the first/last Monday of the month blog. The CSR format has been goin

November CSR Feature: Sumeru by Dolores Esteban

Happy November! I know many authors are focused on Nanowrimo, but there's also time for reading this month, right? There's always time for reading! Still, I picked a story on the lower end of the word count this month, but one that is right up my favorite alley--science fiction. Dolores Esteban writes excellent stories in all different styles and genres, and Sumeru is a real thinker. Have you checked it before? Now's the perfect time!  Sumeru by Dolores Esteban   Length: 35,9

November C S R Feature: Between The Lines By Comicality

It's hard to believe the year is almost over! Just 2 more CSR's in 2016, and I thought for this month I'd feature the kind of story a lot of the site's readers enjoy, but a very popular author. For the first time as a CSR feature, this month's story is Between the Lines by Comicality (I know, I was shocked I hadn't featured him before!)   Between the Lines by Comicality   Length: 46,928   Description: "College is definitely a great place to revolutionize your life, try new

November C S R Discussion Day: Street Life by Graeme

Did you have a chance to read Graeme's short story, Street Life? May CSR Feature: Timber Pack Chronicles by Rob Colton

Okay, so I admit it... this month's feature is all about a comfort read for me! I recently re-read Rob's Degan Chronicles stories, cause... awesome. Yes. I've loved Rob's work since I found him way back when on another site, and I cheered when he came to GA. His fans are legion, of course, so I know a lot of GA persons have read this story as well. If not... well, maybe many of us have some time on our hands while the whole world tries to stay healthy? What better way than reading?

May CSR Feature: Dejection and Hope by Demiurge

Well May's a nice, loooong month, so you get a nice looong story. Let's see if you can get past the urge to just keep reading. I know I started to check which story I wanted to feature, and once I read chapter one, before I knew it I was on chapter ten... so I knew this was it!  Dejection and Hope by @Demiurge Length: 129,052 Description: All Seth wanted was ramen. May Csr Book Club Selection: The Jacob & Marcus Tales

May already! For many we're on the cusp of a new season and for some of us it's still pouring down rain, grr. I thought this month I'd feature a story with a lot of duality in it. Then, I decided to do something a little different and do a series. Now, I know a novel series would be far too much reading, but Thorn Wilde's Jacob and Marcus Tales just fit the bill, with all the 8 stories in the series under 8k in length. *Story #5 in the series is a set of 2 short prequels* I hope you enjoy this s
