I hope everyone had a great week this past week. A lot of stuff going on this week and there were quite a lot of story updates as well. That's always a good thing as it just means more reading material for all the readers here at GA! Let's see what happened this week in the GA News Blog, shall we?   We started the week out by announcing this months CSR story! Have you read "Tears of the Neko" by Craftingmom? If not, you have an entire month to read it before it's time for the discussion day!

Weekly Wrap Up (Dec. 9 - Dec. 14)

What to discuss this week.... hmm, a friend and his family are in  Hawaii and they saw a one legged bird, so they decided to call it Steve 😮   But this is the same friend, to his wife's anger, gives me one sock every year at Christmas.     Shall we move on and into the Weekly Update?   Monday, we had another Featured Story, this one done up by Cole Matthews:   Tuesday was round 2 of what seems to be becoming a popular new blog by Renee.

Weekly Wrap Up!

I'm running a bit behind with this weeks Weekly Wrap Up as I kind of fell asleep on the couch, but here it is none the less. I hope everyone had a great week and that you all are having a relaxing weekend to gear up for the coming week. Now, how about I get on with the wrap up!   The review for this week's Featured Story was "The Lake" by Dolores Esteban. "The Lake" was one of the entries into the recent Spring Anthology and was enjoyed by not only our reviewer, Jo Ann, but based on the commen

We had a really full week here at our GayAuthors.org News Blog. We started with K.C.'s review of Man of Montana by carringtonrj. As KC mentions, "Man of Montana captivated me right from the beginning or should I say the end? [...] This story starts in an intriguing way by starting with the ending!"   Transitions was the theme of our Wacky Wednesday. After a bit of reflection and introspection that focused on the role of social media, I talked about GA's recent efforts to engage the community t

Our Summer anthology deadline has come and passed, so looking forward to soon being able to read some good "Choices".   Our week started by Seeking Nirvana - a story by LittleBuddhaTW that was reviewed by Mark 92. Seeking Nirvana is a great story that I first read when David wrote it, but it was sooo good to take another fresh look at this gem.   We had a couple of great tips this week. As one of the possible uses for Tip Tuesday will be interviews, what better than a tip on conducting inter

ANNOUNCEMENT: We've heard your requests for more "Likes" and everyone has now had their ability to like content increased per day. To balance this, an author now needs a slightly higher reputation to have their stories no longer subject to the moderation queue.   We started our week with a great review by Daithi of Hosted Author Lugh's Binding. Binding is a Premium Content story, and we additionally talked about how Premium memberships help GayAuthors.org. Even being only available in Premium,

Spring has sprung and it seems like everyone's mood is picking up after which has been a long hard winter for some areas in the Northern Hemisphere. Other areas in Southern Hemisphere are, I am hoping, heading into a mild winter.   One of the things about Spring is that they always seem to bring the dreaded Spring Cold. Renee is sidelined with one right now so I have stepped in to ensure she is taking her meds, hot baths, and getting as much rest as possible. Join me in wishing Renee a speedy

So, don't tell anyone  but I think Renee missed her hour of sleep this week  . This makes less work for me, and gives me something to tease her about  . I do have to admit that I don't have a lil' one under that age of 1 that I'm tending to day in and day out, so I guess I shall forgive her  Why don't we all share our love  .   On a more sad note, we have members in New Zealand that we should share our love with too  .   Monday, Renee introduced us to another featured story
