Weekly Wrap Up (Apr. 4 - Apr. 13)

It might be spring where you are, except our friends in the Southern Hemisphere ;) It was a beautiful day today and will be tomorrow. Only to be followed by snow on Monday and Tuesday :gikkle: Well I said, darn it and I started my spring cleaning today. OMG, I can't believe how much I threw out, recycling where I can. I started with my pantry. I'll admit I was ashamed of myself :(. I found stuff at the back of the cupboard that had expired in 2022 😮

So that leads me to my controversial question for the week :) Do you toss product as soon as it expires or do you believe it is all a conspiracy that the expiry dates are only put on so you throw it out and buy more? I'm surprised how evenly divided this is, especially between friends husbands and wives. To the extent that one or the other will do tossing when the other isn't home :gikkle:

Now before all hell breaks loose, I want to thank the Avian Academy that choose me to be the next leader of LPW Land. Wonder how long it will last ;)?

Now before I ramble on any more, let's see what the GA News Blog brought us this week.

Monday the review team popped in and presented a great review on a new story this month!

Tuesday, we got on our cowboy hats :cowboy: and boots 👢for a Western Deep Dive. Yahooooooooo!

Then on Thursday, it was week 2 of the 2024 Poetry Anthology - Seasons. Have you checked any out? You'd be surprised how many poems might reach you in a way you did not think they would

Since we are taking a break from prompts and also out of Comicality Writing Tips, that is the wrap for the week!

We had 4 blogs this week, including the Weekly Wrap Up last Sunday, but we had 7 Words of the Day. BTW, I knew all seven this week :D

ocelot, operetta, lynx, mustang, coyote, mosey, paperback

Dairy is gone by the date generally in my household, but if not, it is out of here.  Tend to trust can goods; but rarely have any that go over date on the can.  Spices are my downfall.  I love to cook/bake and spend a lot on spices and just hate to throw anything out but the second the color or smell goes, it is outta here.  When it comes to fruit and vegetables, I try and by carefully; but do compost when something goes bad.

Great round up as always...

Not skin milk, in most cases.  It might even be good for a day or two past the expiration date, at least in my experience.
