You only pay to read some of his incomplete works before he publishes the entire story... kind of like paying for a sneak preview.Most of us are on the same boat. We generally just wait until DK finishes the entire story and then read the entire thing for free 2

Dan has a lot of fans on this site plus a LOT of free reads. He's popular enough and kind enough to post some of his stories first to Premium and help contribute to the site that way. No one asked you to do anything. Singling Dan out in this manner is quite rude and your many explanation point comment is ridiculous. You insult him and the site by your attitude and at your age you should know better! If you don't have something nice to say or a polite way to say a valid criticism, don't say anything at all.

If you choose not to support this site and the freedom it gives you to read the more than fifty million free words in GA Stories, then so be it, but keep your venom and decision to yourself. This choice is a personal one but since you made it public... Why would you NOT spend $90 (the actual cost of premium for a year) to support this site? What do you not like about it so much? You do realize that the money goes to not only keep the site free as can be, it keeps it mostly ad free, and keeps the upgrades coming with regular frequency so our site is always fresh and while I won't say "cutting edge" it is leaps and bounds above the competition. Additionally, you get more than DK's stories for those funds... there are several authors who post to premium, and you get them all. Anyway, enough of my chatter. This probably means not a whit to you, but that is fine. DK is one of ours... we like him, we'll keep him. Not sure about you yet.

Honestly, gather your information before you go and attempt to slam DK like that. It's not $100, it's $90.00. Also you can wait and read it for free like most of the premium content because that's the way it works, and it's been posted many places. Next time, think before you write.

Question: If you can buy the book through Amazon for $3, that's a lot cheaper than $90 or $100. Is that how it works?

I'm not disagreeing with you in concept, I'm just saying that Dan certainly isn't defenseless. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have to call in the cavalry on this one, and that he could handle this on on his own,

I have an issue with the first post of a five year member being a nasty one. I would have an issue with that in any forum -- including you... oh yeah... you don't have one. My bad. Yes, I know the books are available on Amazon. I frankly don't care nor do I see how that is relevant to this conversation or his incorrect statement of the funds required for a year long premium account. Furthermore, I do not understand your bitching, moaning, complaining, and whining about my post(s) (two of which now have been in response to your drivel) when you have posted more than anyone else in the thread. The initial member in question needed not rank out a member that posted he had a couple of his books now availble on Amazon. The member needed not complain on-site the way he did that was the point, Crap Lugh, I have never had issue with you before and don't want one now. The biggest issue I have isn't the gist of the comment made but the manner and sentiment it was said in. Politeness counts and that goes for addressing anyone and everyone who comments in this site and the forum, each other as well as Dan, since he is the person it is for.

In exchange for that support, we provide stories early, or in some cases, exclusively to Premium Content Subscribers. There are a number of stories by dk that will stay exclusive to Premium Content. If you want to read them, then you'll have to breakdown and pay $7.50 for a month. Then you'll have to do it again as we post more. That is $0.25 per day. If you can't handle that for the amount of content that ALL of GA provides, then head over to any other site. As to the question of the Kindle e-books, the two books there are available on Kindle, but NOT in Premium Content. Not yet, anyway. When they do hit Premium Content, they will be additional material there, should people not be interested in ebooks.

Premium content, to me, is really about helping improve this website, and the fact of the matter is that it has. GA Stories wasn't free software. I noticed people talking about Dan handling this troll thread. Quite frankly, he would chew OP up and spit him out, not that it wouldn't be deserved...

It's one thing to have one troll going bonkers, it's another to then let someone like rocco to start a completely topic unrelated to DK in this forum. Either split the thread to a GA site-related topic on Premium Content discussion or close this thread outright. Either way, this hasn't been a productive thread a while ago. 1
