The Alphabet Game

Recommended Posts

The Alphabet Game was a popular skit performed on the US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway (It may have a different name in the UK version of the show, or may not have been played at all)

The premise of the game is as follows:

A scene is set, and for the example the scene will be Two men walk into a bar.

A starting letter is chosen. For the example, I'll start with "D".

Each successive sentence must begin with the next letter of the alphabet, until we work our way back to the starting letter.

The person who does the last letter in the sequence (In the case of the example it would be the letter "C") chooses the new scene and the new starting letter.

Example:

Scene: Two men walk into a bar.

Starting Letter: "D"

Person one: Do you want a beer?

Person two: Everything is wrong in my life, so I need something stronger.

Person three: Fine, get whatever you'd like.

Now to start us off, I'll give a new scene and start on a different letter.

Scene: Two kids walking home from school.

Starting Letter: F

Starting Line: "Feel free to come over today"

Next letter is G. :)

(Just disregard the lack of the letter "J") ;)

"Know the material, that is my advice, but I can tutor you."

"Like the way you tutored your last boyfriend?"

"Maybe you should listen to what I have to say about that instead of believing gossip."

"Noah, why are you blushing then?"

"Oh!  That's none of your business!"

"Please, you've got to tell me the details!"

(Did anyone else notice that Drew skipped the letter "j" :gikkle:  )

The letter "j" didn't exist in the Latin Alphabet during the Roman Era -_-:P

"Quit it, it's none of your business!"

"Rachel said you wouldn't lie to me. But I see she was wrong"

"Stop it! I'm not lying to you!"

"Tsk tsk, we have been friends since pre-school, I know when you are lying or hiding something."

"Usually I have a good reason, don't I?"
