I cannot say if he's from Waco;

a genuine or just a fake-o.

The bear was sewn by quite the tailor,

he could have been a bear from Baylor.

I found the shiny back in Austin,

and got it home - 'twas quite exhaustin'.

I dug it out of ferret's den;

I really can't remember when

I smelled a crown so highly funky,

except when it was took by monkey.

A lemur and a llama had a sort of conversation:

The lemur, full of melodrama, spoke of malversation.

The llama, with its sleepy gaze, hummed.

 

The lemur squeaked  "the shiny's gone! I had it just this minute!"

He wheezed "I lost it!  Augh! The work I'd gone through just to win it!"

The llama, mouthing chewy grass, gummed. 

 

The llama cogitated long, it ground its cud and pondered;

"Why did you leave it on your branch?" the wise alpaca wondered.

The lemur was, with weepy eyes, bummed.

Stealing from dancing lemurs is just rude. I take back the shiny for my llama and alpaca friends. Mine. :joe:
