Every time he parks his golf cart at the office the critter comes over to check him out and if the cart is parked for more than a few minutes it'll hop on. 🐿 we've named it Skippy. 2 1

Although I consider myself lucky that I live far enough south that the earliest that darkness hits is about 545pm in Dec. I'm glad I don't have to live with a 4pm sunset anymore. I remember clearly those days of getting up and going to work in the dark, then coming home in the dark. No thank you. Umm, isn't that the way of things? I do that in late June when the days are longest! Forget about December! 3

Fae Briona Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Little Man isn't doing that we'll we're afraid. He's been trembling more and more (even though we have him on pain Rx), sleeping more and more, and eating less and less. Tried to get him interested in his untouched breakfast and he went to sleep. 4

So sorry to hear Little Man isn’t doing well, Fae. You being there for him even as he sleeps is important, because it’s got to be a comfort for him as he’s not alone. Hugz, my friend. 3

He's 15 -- so quite old for his breed, and really beyond the breed's avg. lifespan. We're worried we're going to have to make a decision we don't want to make, but we also don't want him to suffer. 2

Loving those little furry faces makes it so hard. Hugs to you and SP, belly rubs for Little Man. 2

rickproehl Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 Excuse me Good Sirs and DiC friends. Just wanting to say good morning my day started badly someone broke into my car at 2:30 am they only opened the glove box - took nothing. It’s just annoying to get woke up that way. How has your day going? 4 1

How has your day going? I'm glad they didn't take anything rick. I only had my car broken into once, back in college. They took all my cassettes (*gasp* .... I've most definitely dated myself with that one word!) and my spare change that I had...maybe $2 or $3. Had to drive home 2 hours in January up in Mass with a broken window. That was one cold ride! So far today has been OK, just slow. 6
Popular Post Kitt Posted November 5, 2020 Popular Post Posted November 5, 2020 Lol want to hear someone date themselves? My car was broken into shortly after I got married. Only thing they took was a cb radio that had been dropped at some point and therefore was a tad wonky and needed to be "fonzi thumped" to clear reception. Kicker was the car was not locked, they broke the <hand cranked> window for nothing. Which dates me more? The hand crank window, the cb radio or fonzi thump? 7

My first car had a cassette player, but my Dad's '76 Monte Carlo had an 8 track player that I loved. As a matter of fact one of my brothers had an 8 track player shaped like the detonator box for dynamite. It had a picture of JJ Walker from Good Times saying "Dyyy-noooo-miiite!" 🤣🤣 3
