  No lectures for you, but for your doctor.  Sore throats can have a variety of causes, and don't necessarily mean that you've had contact with people.  Allergies and acid reflux are two that come to mind.  I think the COVID test is standard procedure in situations like this.  My doctor wouldn't see me either when I said I had a headache and mild sore throat, both of which were associated with the reason I was calling, which wasn't COVID.  I hope you feel better soon.    The test isn't that bad, so it might not be a bad idea so you can be seen and figure out what's going on with your throat.    

That's what it was. He couldn't do anything for me until I had the test. It applies to everyone.

He's not my doctor... mine was off today... so they set me up with a telehealth doctor.

I'm not gonna lecture. I seriously doubt it's Covid, you've been careful but if the only way you can get a throat culture done is to have the test first then you may not have a choice.

Another toasty day here, warm but the sun has a bit of a bite to it.

And I obviously spend too much time on GA because I saw a nice looking gentleman jogging with no shirt and thought “oh that’s one for @clochette”
