it was a bit warm walking back from my meeting

The snow is all thawed now.  We got freezing rain and then rain yesterday afternoon/all night.  It's not too bad now.  Cold, but the sun peeked out for a little bit before hiding behind the clouds again.

I read that the carnivore one from Florida (though a young one was found this summer in the south of France), with spikes on it's back, I can't remember its name, can take off your hand just like a dog would it chase after you!  there are even video on YouTube where we see a guy throwing a can to the turtle and it's catching/destroying it in flight with its mouth... it's say it's closest to dinosaurs

I just had a telehealth call with a doctor(not mine) and he said I should go get tested for Covid. I haven't been in contact with anyone, and I told him that. He said I must have been if I have a sore throat... and he couldn't do anything like swab my throat until I had a Covid test. I'll wait another day and see how I feel. No lectures please... I know I haven't been in contact with anyone, and I don't have a fever.

We know you've been very careful and your kids too  hopefully it's just a little cold and you'll be fine in no time take care of yourself and stay warm

  No lectures for you, but for your doctor.  Sore throats can have a variety of causes, and don't necessarily mean that you've had contact with people.  Allergies and acid reflux are two that come to mind.  I think the COVID test is standard procedure in situations like this.  My doctor wouldn't see me either when I said I had a headache and mild sore throat, both of which were associated with the reason I was calling, which wasn't COVID.  I hope you feel better soon.    The test isn't that bad, so it might not be a bad idea so you can be seen and figure out what's going on with your throat.
