That sucks, but maybe it's for the best in the long run.   Poor kitty... Cookie has been searching for my son all night and morning.

It will be a good thing in the long run. She’s basically been using me as a free therapist since she moved in... Which, I live with mental illness too, I don’t have the mental resources for doing that, but I never know how to tell people that. She should be in therapy, but she thinks she doesn’t need to be. She’s kind of stingy and selfish, too... I dunno, I like her well enough, but as a flatmate she’s turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Damn, here I go whining again, lol! Anxiety’s high today. Sorry.

Two weeks notice is not acceptable.  Your flatmate should pay for their portion of next month's rent, at the very least.  Thirty days notice is what's standard around here, unless otherwise specified in a contract or lease.
