Actually, I'm extremely picky when it comes to potato salad. I grew up eating home made potato salad, prepared by my Dad, and it was amazing. Way better than stuff even at restaurants, etc. My mom luckily can still make it, but when she goes that recipe might go with her. I can barely cook anything, and I don't think any of my siblings who can cook have ever made it. Then you best learn how it's made, hadn't you. And that "I can barely cook" don't hold water. If you've a mind to learn it you can? First get the recipe in writing with specifics. Like what brand of mayo, mustard, vinegar, pickle, etc. Do you mix it while the potatoes are warm or let them cool a bit. You get the idea. Don't let that recipe go. 6 2

The issue, besides me being mediocre, my dad very much cooked by taste. He used to make up his own recipes, etc. so he was hard to emulate. Even my mom struggles with this now, whether things are as good as dad made them. And my mom is a great cook 2 5
Popular Post bignick Posted May 3, 2024 Popular Post Posted May 3, 2024 @spike382 You're not mediocre. If you want to learn how to cook, go for it. Start with the basic: cheese sandwich. 6
