I spent the day in the hospital. I have extensive bruising to the ribs and muscle tissue and soft tissue, and damage to some of the muscles, including abdominal muscles (all will heal on their own), but there are no breaks, and my organs are all okay. No blood anywhere it shouldn't be. I had a CT scan and x-rays and blood work. The doc says it will be at least another week before I might see an improvement, and likely it will be more than two before I feel less pain. All I can do is rest and take Tylenol. Still a rough road ahead, but at least I know for sure. :)

While this is bad enough I'm glad you didn't do yourself more serious injury. Be patient, patient and let yourself heal. One of the benefits of age is wisdom. Please use it. There is nothing in this world right now that can't be left until your well enough (well enough will not be tomorrow) to deal with it. Love you bro.
