I think it was definitely one of his favs. He liked being at Mum's and hanging in my back garden on summer afternoons.

The ones worn by the young gentleman at the beach were a dark chocolate brown made from thick material. The pattern was very dark brown. I did think they might be normal shorts (ugly but not boardies) but the Velcro zipper gave the game away. He looked a lot better in just the speedos

I made a lasagna planter with freesias and gladioli and 3 little bushes of forget me not. I'll have a very colorful and good smelling window sill in a few weeks
