rknapp Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 TGIF SON!!! hehe The person below has done underage drinking in an upscale restaurant in a major city. I ordered a Bug Juice, not know exactly what it was. It apparently was essentially juice, ice, vodka, and a gummi worm for good measure. I really didn't taste any alcohol though... everyone else who ordered one agreed that it was very light that night (being last night). Plus, it got me out of a going to a housing meeting since we missed the train back to town I was just amazed that the waiter (who I thought was a little fey for his own good) didn't card four young people ordering drinks like that. Two us were underage, one much younger than I am!

Krista Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 The drinking laws here are similar. Under 18s can drink with a meal if a parent or guardian is present. I also believe they can drink at home. They aren't allowed to purchase alcohol, or to drink in a public place if it isn't with a meal.I don't think I ever managed to get to 4 mins, but I used to be able to hold my breath for quite some time -- at least a couple of minutes. However, I have 2 friends that I can only see on weekends. So, yes, I'm thankful for that. The person below me is thinking about what their retirement might look like.
