Actually, I've already ordered it from amazon.com and they'll ship it the day before it's official release so (if I'd been willing to pay next-day-air shipping, NOT!) it's be delivered on the day it will be relaeased. And yes, I'll probably read it in the two days after I get it! B):read:

The person below me is not going to buy Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow the day that it's released and probably not any time thereafter.

Colin :boy:

Half right. I'll wait before I buy it, but I will. Even if I didn't want to read it myself, my better half will be telling me to get a copy :P

The person below me has had his/her boss ring him up on his/her day off two weeks in a row.

And both times it was because my boss forgot I had the day off....

At least your boss thinks you're important to want to call you, right? :)

A little -- we're about to run out of water and the pump to refill the tank is broken -- but we've got options so I'm not too stressed.

Aww...! *hugs*...

I don't get depressed when I see a gay couple together in public. Maybe because I don't see it all that often? lol. But nothing bad about me seeing a gay couple. Actually I would think they were brave doing that in Kentucky. :)

Yes, actually. The chick from The Departed graduated from my high school, in 1993 IIRC.

In my case it wasn't the cordless mouse -- I have this problem whenever there are two computers on the desk. I always seem to use the wrong mouse....

Lesson number one for beginner riders: Make sure the spectactors aren't in front of you when you put the bike into gear.

Posted

No but I saw a video on YouTube of a guy ghosting his ride, and doing donuts at the same time. He slipped and fell under the car. The car was rear wheel drive, so not only did he have the wheel in face, the hot motor and transmission and the weight of the car (probably upwards for 3200 lbs) on his body and dragging him around the pavement, but also had the spinning driveline on him. His friends ran out and managed to flip the car off of him once it had stopped moving. Ouch! Lesson one for beginner 'Gangstas', if you're gonna ghost ride, don't do it while burning out.

Colin :boy:

It depends on which year you're talking about.... I've done last years, and maybe I'll do this year's early for a change. Our next tax return will be for the year ending 30th June, so I've still got some time before I have to start.

The person below me knows why some companies and countries have a July-June financial year, and others have Jan-Dec.

I've also seen companies with other financial years, too, such as Apr-Mar, or Oct-Sep.

I should... and probably could know if I asked my mother. She's VP of a company she formerly owned. Too lazy and uncaring to ask though.. lol. May get into this long boring informational lecture.
