I made a test for a planting card as that's what I'm planning to do with my kids for mother's day (plus a terracotta pot they'll paint). Dad stopped by on his way home from a day in Paris and we had a glass of white Bourgogne on the terrasse (yes, yes I love my terrasse 😎 get ready to hear all about it this summer) then grilled chicken breasts in a thym and lemon marinade with potatoes wedges and strawberries for dessert. I had to wait for her pills for fleas, ticks, and heartworm... she's had her bloodwork done and is covered for everything now. I got my lawn tractor ready for summer and mowed the paddock yesterday, and did a bit more mowing today. The grass isn't very tall. I'm building a new platform for my mattress since apparently it isn't supposed to be on a box spring. Got the top done, and now just have to attach legs and paint it. Swept some of the barn today too. 4
