Eric I love this song n_n Lonely feeling(To be lonely) Brainstorm Like ships without anchors Wide is the ocean, no islands, no shores All is well, only This is such a lonely feeling to be lonely Fame is illusion Bright are the lights and you - You are left in confusion All is well, only This is such a lonely feeling This is such a lonely feeling Driving fast, as fast as I can Or sitting quietly on the windowsill You've got all and nothing Just put no more loneliness on my bill This is such a lonely feeling All songs should be happy Actors young and soap operas crappy Movies are x-rays Our destinies are choosing our ways And what should we do? To enjoy life the most Or hiding like ghosts? If you don't remember it, follow the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y8qj2MzIlJw (I do swear that I'll always be there. I'd give anything and everything and I will always care. Through weakness and strength, happiness and sorrow, for better, for worse, I will love you with every beat of my heart.) From this moment life has begun From this moment you are the one Right beside you is where I belong From this moment on From this moment I have been blessed I live only for your happiness And for your love I'd give my last breath From this moment on I give my hand to you with all my heart Can't wait to live my life with you, can't wait to start You and I will never be apart My dreams came true because of you From this moment as long as I live I will love you, I promise you this There is nothing I wouldn't give From this moment on You're the reason I believe in love And you're the answer to my prayers from up above All we need is just the two of us My dreams came true because of you From this moment as long as I live I will love you, I promise you this There is nothing I wouldn't give From this moment I will love you as long as I live From this moment on
Johnathan Colourfield Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Two Songs The Way I Am - Ingrid Michealson (My boyfriend's song for me :$) If you were falling, then I would catch you. You need a light, I'd find a match. Cuz I love the way you say good morning. And you take me the way I am. If you are chilly, here take my sweater. Your head is aching, I'll make it better. Cuz I love the way you call me baby. And you take me the way I am. I'd buy you Rogaine when you start losing all your hair. Sew on patches to all you tear. Cuz I love you more than I could ever promise. And you take me the way I am. You take me the way I am. You take me the way I am. And the song i have for him. Save The Last Dance You can dance-every dance with the guy Who gives you the eye,let him hold you tight You can smile-every smile for the man Who held your hand neath the pale moonlight But don't forget who's takin' you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darlin' save the last dance for me Oh I know that the musics fine Like sparklin' wine ,go and have your fun Laugh and sing, but while we're apart Don't give your heart to anyone But don't forget who's takin' you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darlin' save the last dance for me Baby don't you know I love you so Can't you feel it when we touch I will never never let you go I love you oh so much You can dance,go and carry on Till the night is gone And it's time to go If he asks if you're all alone Can he take you home, you must tell him no 'Cause don't forget who's taking you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darling, save the last dance for me 'Cause don't forget who's taking you home And in whose arms you're gonna be So darling, save the last dance for me Save the last dance for me Save the last dance for me. Boy In Doubt Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I love this. It's called Our Song by Taylor Swift. "Our Song" I was riding shotgun with my hair undone in the front seat of his car He's got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel The other on my heart I look around, turn the radio down He says baby is something wrong? I say nothing I was just thinking how we don't have a song And he says... [Chorus:] Our song is the slamming screen doors, Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window When we're on the phone and you talk real low 'cause it's late and your mama don't know Our song is the way you laugh The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, and I should have" And when I got home ... before I said amen Asking God if he could play it again I was walking up the front porch steps after everything that day Had gone all wrong and been trampled on And lost and thrown away Got to the hallway, well on my way to my lovin' bed I almost didn't notice all the roses And the note that said... [Chorus] I've heard every album, listened to the radio Waited for something to come along That was as good as our song... Cause [Chorus] I was riding shotgun with my hair undone In the front seat of his car I grabbed a pen and an old napkin And I wrote down our song

Lay a whisper on my pillow Leave the winter on the ground I wake up lonely, there's air of silence In the bedroom and all around Touch me now, I close my eyes and dream away 1st Chorus: It must have been love, but it's over now It must have been good, but I lost it somehow It must have been love, but it's over now From the moment we touched till the time had run out Make believing, we're together That I'm sheltered by your heart But in and outside I've turned to water Like a teardrop in your palm And it's a hard winter's day, I dream away 2nd Chorus: It must have been love, but it's over now It was all that I wanted, now I'm living without It must have been love but it's over now It's where the water flows, it's where the wind blows 3rd. Razor Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 There's a Fine, Fine Line - Avenue Q There's a fine, fine line Between a lover and a friend There's a fine, fine line Between reality and pretend And you never know till you reach the top If it was worth the uphill climb There's a fine, fine line between love And a waste of time There's a fine, fine line Between a fairy tale and a lie And there's a fine, fine line Between "you're wonderful" and goodbye I guess if someone doesn't love you back It isn't such a crime But there's a fine, fine line between love And a waste of your time. And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore I don't think you even know what you're looking for For my own sanity I'm gonna close the door and walk away There's a fine, fine line Between together and not And there's a fine, fine line Between what you wanted and what you got You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime There's a fine, fine line between love and a waste of time Still Hurting - The Last Five Years Jamie is over and Jamie is gone Jamie's decided it's time to move on Jamie's got new dreams he's building upon And I'm still hurting Jamie arrived at the end of the line Jamie's convinced that the problems are mine Jamie's probably feeling just fine And I'm still hurting What about lies, Jamie? What about things that you swore to be true? What about you, Jamie? What about you? Jamie is sure something wonderful died Jamie decides it's his right to decide Jamie's got secrets he doesn't confide And I'm still hurting Go and hide and run away Run away Run and find something better Go and ride the sun away Run away Like it's simple, like it's right Give me a day, Jamie Bring back the lies Hang them back on the wall Maybe I'd see How you could be so certain That we had no chance at all Jamie is over and where can I turn? Covered with scars I did nothing to earn Maybe there's somewhere a lesson to learn But that wouldn't change the fact That wouldn't speed the time Once the foundation's cracked And I'm still hurting ^----The fact that it has my name in it, I must admit, is a plus. But it's such a pretty, emo song. Both of these are, lol. If you wanna giggle, though, you can always check out other Avenue Q songs if you've not heard them all a billion times already. The More You Ruv Someone is my favorite funny one.
Phantom Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Illusion - VNV Nation I know it's hard to tell how mixed up you feel Hoping what you need is behind every door Each time you get hurt, I don't want you to change Because everyone has hopes, you're human after all The feeling sometimes, wishing you were someone else Feeling as though you never belong This feeling is not sadness, this feeling is not joy I truly understand. Please, don't cry now Please don't go, I want you to stay I'm begging you please, please don't leave here I don't want you to hate for all the hurt that you feel The world is just illusion trying to change you Being like you are Well this is something else, who would comprehend? But some that do, lay claim Divine purpose blesses them That's not what I believe, and it doesn't matter anyway A part of your soul ties you to the next world Or maybe to the last, but I'm still not sure But what I do know, is to us the world is different As we are to the world but I guess you would know that Please don't go, I want you to stay I'm begging you please, please don't leave here I don't want you to hate for all the hurt that you feel The world is just illusion trying to change you Please don't go, I want you to stay I'm begging you please, oh please don't leave here I don't want you to change for all the hurt that you feel This world is just illusion always trying to change you Please don't go, I want you to stay I'm begging you please, please don't leave here I don't want you to hate for all the hurt that you feel The world is just illusion trying to change you Please don't go, I want you to stay I'm begging you please, oh please don't leave here I don't want you to change for all the hurt that you feel This world is just illusion always trying to change you
JamesSavik Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 One Tin Soldier by Lambert-Potter, The Original Cast One Tin Soldier by the Original Cast Listen, children, to a story That was written long ago, 'Bout a kingdom on a mountain And the valley-folk below. On the mountain was a treasure Buried deep beneath the stone, And the valley-people swore They'd have it for their very own. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after.... One tin soldier rides away. So the people of the valley Sent a message up the hill, Asking for the buried treasure, Tons of gold for which they'd kill. Came an answer from the kingdom, "With our brothers we will share All the secrets of our mountain, All the riches buried there." Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after.... One tin soldier rides away. Now the valley cried with anger, "Mount your horses! Draw your sword!" And they killed the mountain-people, So they won their just reward. Now they stood beside the treasure, On the mountain, dark and red. Turned the stone and looked beneath it... "Peace on Earth" was all it said. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after.... One tin soldier rides away. Go ahead and hate your neighbor, Go ahead and cheat a friend. Do it in the name of Heaven, You can justify it in the end. There won't be any trumpets blowing Come the judgement day, On the bloody morning after.... One tin soldier rides away.

Former Member Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 (edited) DIAMONDS AND RUST (Words and Music by Joan Baez) Well I'll be damned Here comes your ghost again But that's not unusual It's just that the moon is full And you happened to call And here I sit Hand on the telephone Hearing a voice I'd known A couple of light years ago Heading straight for a fall As I remember your eyes Were bluer than robin's eggs My poetry was lousy you said Where are you calling from? A booth in the midwest Ten years ago I bought you some cufflinks You brought me something We both know what memories can bring They bring diamonds and rust Well you burst on the scene Already a legend The unwashed phenomenon The original vagabond You strayed into my arms And there you stayed Temporarily lost at sea The Madonna was yours for free Yes the girl on the half-shell Would keep you unharmed Now I see you standing With brown leaves falling around And snow in your hair Now you're smiling out the window Of that crummy hotel Over Washington Square Our breath comes out white clouds Mingles and hangs in the air Speaking strictly for me We both could have died then and there Now you're telling me You're not nostalgic Then give me another word for it You who are so good with words And at keeping things vague Because I need some of that vagueness now It's all come back too clearly Yes I loved you dearly And if you're offering me diamonds and rust I've already paid Also, its used at the end of this beautiful short film called 'Blue'. Its a short fictional film about a boy struggling to come to terms with his feelings. Edited May 30, 2009 by jessiflash
Tiger Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 I love this band. Their music is so dark, and dark music is what I like most. The somber and chilling lyrics reveal great heartache. There should be more songs like this. Seether "Breakdown" The sun is gone and the flowers rot Words are spaces between us And I should've been drown in the rivers I've found of token lost And I should've been down when you made me insecure So break me down if it makes you feel right And hate me now if it keeps you alright You can break me down if it takes all your might 'cause I'm so much more than meets the eye And I'm the one you can never trust 'cause wounds are ways to reveal us And yeah I could have tried and devoted my life to both of us But what a waste of my time when the world we have is yours So break me down if it makes you feel right And hate me now if it keeps you alright You can break me down if it takes all your might 'cause I'm so much more than all your lies Hate me, break me down So break me down So break me down So break me down if it makes you feel right And hate me now if it keeps you alright You can break me down if it takes all your might 'cause I'm so much more than meets the eye

Yes, 'n' how many times must the cannon balls fly Before they're forever banned? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many years can a mountain exist Before it's washed to the sea? Yes, 'n' how many years can some people exist Before they're allowed to be free? Yes, 'n' how many times can a man turn his head, Pretending he just doesn't see? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. How many times must a man look up Before he can see the sky? Yes, 'n' how many ears must one man have Before he can hear people cry? Yes, 'n' how many deaths will it take till he knows That too many people have died? The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, The answer is blowin' in the wind. This is an obscure Bob Dylan song called "With God on our side" that addresses the paradoxical mindset of those who believe that God backs their actions in war. It's one of the most moving songs that I've heard: "With God on our side" Oh my name it is nothin' My age it means less The country I come from Is called the Midwest I's taught and brought up there The laws to abide And the land that I live in Has God on its side. Oh the history books tell it They tell it so well The cavalries charged The Indians fell The cavalries charged The Indians died Oh the country was young With God on its side. The Spanish-American War had its day And the Civil War too Was soon laid away And the names of the heroes I was made to memorize With guns in their hands And God on their side. The First World War, boys It came and it went The reason for fighting I never did get But I learned to accept it Accept it with pride For you don't count the dead When God's on your side. When the Second World War Came to an end We forgave the Germans And then we were friends Though they murdered six million In the ovens they fried The Germans now too Have God on their side. I've learned to hate Russians All through my whole life If another war comes It's them we must fight To hate them and fear them To run and to hide And accept it all bravely With God on my side. But now we got weapons Of the chemical dust If fire them we're forced to Then fire them we must One push of the button And a shot the world wide And you never ask questions When God's on your side. In a many dark hour I've been thinkin' about this That Jesus Christ Was betrayed by a kiss But I can't think for you You'll have to decide Whether Judas Iscariot Had God on his side. So now as I'm leavin' I'm weary as Hell The confusion I'm feelin' Ain't no tongue can tell The words fill my head And fall to the floor If God's on our side He'll stop the next war. Today, nobody is listen these songs anymore. But we should. "Government big enough to supply everything you need is big enough to take everything you have... The course of history shows that as a government grows, liberty decreases." -Thomas Jefferson Edited August 22, 2009 by old bob
