Hmmm, having read the comments, I had to reread the story because, well, I didn't see Nate as the prick everyone else saw. Yes, he wants sex and while he has standards they are neither high nor do they involve comprehensive analysis of his partners emotional needs and wants. He goes out of his way to make sure there is consent and as with Tad he is willing to wait. I am not sure we should be even the slightest bit amazed that Nate is not in a relationship; it's going to take an interesting person to get through to him. Kent is a typical gay-curious bloke who takes the next step and then is surprised verging on horrified at how much he likes it, causing a brain explosion. Chris/Tad break up and consequences will play a huge, but irrelevant to Nate, part in the story - very very like real life. And the Texan..... Great read. From a Nate fan!

One sexy-as-he'll fuck! Heathcliff has gone up in my estimation. Despite not knowing Aiden was a virgin, he instinctively knew he had to take it slowly. Aiden's innocence and inability to read Heathcliff, ignoring the evidence in front of him for the "Coles Notes" version he was given when he took the job is amazing. Temptation: an ex and "checking the score", the repaying a loan to mentally set himself up for "Just one bet", and the search for a present that may lead him to places he wouldn't normally go. You have laid a very dangerous path for our hero. Can his lover save him from following it to its natural end? Great chapter. Thanks

Truly wonderful read. I too did the "meet a bloke half way around the world". In our case it was eastern canada/southern australia; 28 hoirs flying each way. Two trips each each year. After three years I moved there, only for him to get a job in Australia. 19 years later we are still together. Great characters. Too many bloody dogs! Thanks.
