What becomes of the previous Vespers still alive, knowing there is blood on their hands???? And if Rémy’s death satisfied the Leclaire blood requirement, then the Offering didn’t need Adrien’s blood. Levi is showing compassion, which is rare for a young boy his age. Casey has been shown to be a sexual predator with a psychological need that he has to scratch. This urge isn’t easily placated and only growers stronger, the more it is denied.. Having said all that, Levi needs to starkly explain Casey and his history, and not hold back.

I may be wrong, but...I thought earlier in the story that it was mentioned that there was a caretaker who looked after the place. anyhoo it makes no difference... If there are spuds in the ground, I would not be surprised if there were carrots and onions. My onions last yr were a notable failure, and I didn't bother taking them out when I closed up the garden for the winter. Well, as luck would have it, they survived the winter, and a cold one at that...I will have some with a pork chop tonight!! You had me with the barn, the stonework, and most of all, my wet dream...the toolroom and planking!!!
